"We loved the flat from the moment we set foot in it. It was everything we were looking for in a home, and more. The flat was brand new when we moved in and we've lived here for six happy years. The space is so peaceful and bright; it really has been our haven to recharge from life's busyness. The huge windows bring beautiful light in, which radiates throughout the living room. If you have green fingers, your plants will certainly love this (as ours have!). The large open plan kitchen/living room space is really versatile and could easily be partitioned for multi-use - or just a larger corner sofa for movie nights! Oh and the views! From stargazing on balmy summer evenings, to watching colourful winter sunsets wrapped up in a blanket during the colder months, we never tired of spending time on the balcony and enjoying its quietude. The balcony truly offers the best views - greenery on one side, and city views as far as the eye can see on the other. And as New Year's strikes, the sky fills with fireworks all around - such a magical sight! We have really found a real sense of community in Woodford; for us being able to walk to our local coffee shop, favourite brunch place, or local restaurant or cinema has been a real treat. There's ample green space for walks and improvised summer picnics about a minute away. Epping Forest is on your doorstop for long morning runs and exploration, and the Central Line is a short 8 minutes walk away, to whizz you into Central London. We hope the new owners cherish this flat and create happy memories here just as we have done. It is time for a new chapter in our journey, but we will certainly be sad leaving this wonderful home behind."

In case you hadn’t already picked up on the clues in the name, Woodford Green is a charming sanctuary of leafy loveliness within a short hop of Central London. Yes, you read that right – duck ponds, cricket greens and quaint pubs… all just 30-ish minutes from Oxford Circus. No wonder savvy families have been making the area home for a while now – the area’s excellent schools are just the icing on the cake.

Thanks to its close proximity to Epping Forest, visitors head to Woodford Green for scenic walks, and then refuel at one of the area’s cosy traditional pubs such as the Travellers Friend or The Cricketers. There’s also a lively food scene, but just low key enough to ensure the neighbourhood has a close-knit, villagey vibe.
