PROUD TO BE THE STOW BROTHERS

In 2014, Andrew and Kenny Goad launched The Stow Brothers, an estate agency with a fresh, straightforward approach to the property market. The brothers’ vision captured the zeitgeist — from a single shop in Walthamstow, they have now expanded to a team of 80 local specialists, with branches throughout East London.

Our story. Brothers and agents with their own ideas.
Our Story — Stow Brothers

Andrew and Kenny Goad had long-held ambitions to launch their own estate agency business in East London. But they bided their time, gaining valuable experience, watching and learning until the moment was right.

Working at various local estate agents, they made a point of considering what they could do better and differently. They deconstructed the old ways, cultivating their own vision and approach.

So when the first branch of Stow Brothers launched, their philosophy was clearly defined — to make the entire experience of buying or selling a property as smooth, stress-free and satisfying as possible.

The Stow Brothers’ style was refreshingly contemporary and open. It centred around being personable, pragmatic and proactive. Not only with their own buyers and sellers, but with others along the chain too.

Andrew and Kenny recognised the power of human connection. They knew that everyone they met could potentially come full circle, and one day also become a Stow Brothers customer. A strong visual persona and appreciation of design aesthetics played a critical part in their success story too.

Nine, years on, The Stow Brothers have grown to become more of an extended family. They are now an established business, with over 80 staff operating from five branches across East London. However, they remain true to their guiding principles, ever-progressive in outlook, and rooted in the community that made them.

Our first of many Best Estate Agent Guide Awards, 2018

“We keep things authentic. We act on our promises and make sure our clients are kept informed every step of the way.”

We’ve grown up around East London, as a business and as people. This is a place packed with colour and character, constantly evolving and always full of surprises (good ones, that is). We keep our ears to the ground, so we are tuned in to property trends and know exactly what’s happening in our neighbourhoods.

OUR APPROACH
Knowing our patch, helping our neighbours and putting our customers first.
Our Story — Stow Brothers

In-depth local knowledge

We were born and brought up in East London. We make it our business to stay informed and involved. We know the parks and pubs. The schools and surgeries. The best places to park the car or walk the dog. Tell us what kind of property you’re looking for, and we should be able to help you find it.

Our Story — Stow Brothers

A network of buyers and sellers

Our business relies on making the right connections. We’re experts at joining the dots, putting compatible buyers and sellers together, creating an environment where people are more likely to discover the type and style of property that most appeals to them.

Our Story — Stow Brothers

Marketing that gets you noticed

Our marketing is creative and considered, but most importantly, it gets results. We use a strategic mix of property portals, social media and online advertising. Our accomplished photographers, copywriters, marketing & social media specialists know how to showcase your home in its very best light to a wide audience.

Our Story — Stow Brothers

Being neighbourly. Giving back. Staying green.

The Stow Fund donates a percentage of every fee to local charities, community groups and events. We also regularly sponsor local schools and sports initiatives. Thinking of the bigger picture, we find ways to cut our carbon footprint by walking, cycling, recycling and reducing waste.

MEET THE TEAM
Our focus is on doing a good job. Everything starts from there.
Our Story — Stow Brothers

Someone once asked us what we look for when we’re recruiting for the Stow Brothers team. It was easier to tell them what we don’t want, which is estate agents. That preconceived notion of the typical ‘sale monster’ in a loud suit really isn’t us. Even though we’ve grown quickly and are now a multi-office company with over 80 staff, we’re still as grounded and unpretentious as ever.

All our team are local, which is important. They either live in the area or have strong connections to it. Which means they are aware of the nuances of the place. Of course, they know the local property market inside-out, but they are also informed about nurseries and groceries, dentists and electricians, transport and gyms. All the granular, important stuff.

Say hello to our senior partners …
