a word from the owner...

"I loved my time living in the property. It has the best of both worlds - near to restaurants and pubs and only 15 mins into the City of London but there are also great greens spaces such as Epping Forest and Hollow Ponds on the doorstep. The neighbours (4 other flats in the building) are all really nice and we had a WhatsApp group and looked out for each other. I will miss the property and the neighbours."

Our Local Guide:
Leytonstone

Wallwood Road, Leytonstone — Stow Brothers

There’s more to Leytonstone than first meets the eye. Say the name to one person and they might think of the grand houses around Hollow Ponds, while say it to someone else and they’ll mention burgeoning South Leytonstone, or maybe the popular Bushwood. There are many different pockets, but they’re all united by the same inclusive community who recognise that it’s the balance of it all that makes Leytonstone so great.

The centre is arguably the high street with its eclectic shops and eateries, but you only have to venture slightly further away and you’ll come across hidden gems like bar Filly Brook on Grove Green Road, music venue Luna Lounge in Bushwood, or the The Hitchcock Hotel in Upper Leytonstone. Travel a little beyond and you’ll find further contrast with the vast green space that Hollow Ponds and the Wanstead Flats provide. Simply put, you’ll never get bored in Leytonstone.
