IF YOU LIVED HERE...

Your charming red brick frontage immediately sets the bar high, with heaps of kerb appeal, and an early taste of the vintage style you'll find within. Step inside and classic herringbone flooring flows underfoot throughout your striking open plan ground floor. To the front you have your twenty three foot deep through lounge. A box bay window, bespoke understairs storage and twin vintage hearths set the stage for what's yet to come.

A modest secondary hallway leads past a utility room and spare WC to the real showstopper; your 290 square foot, bright and skylit kitchen/diner. In here banks of timber beams and skylights flow overhead while multiple flanks of floor to ceiling Crittal windows fill the immaculate space with still more natural light. The timeless herringbone flooring runs on seamlessly underfoot, while royal blue cabinets, marbled countertops and a large chef's island complete the aesthetic.

Upstairs and your principal bedroom suite is a heavenly affair; a 150 square foot, box bay windowed sleeper with exposed brick chimney breast, adjacent dressing room and en suite bathroom complete with freestanding tub and rainfall shower. All three remaining double bedrooms are just as impressive, each finished in the same blend of vintage style and modern designer trim, and each complete with its own en suite bathroom, ensuring the height of luxury for all.

Outside, and Blackhorse Road tube is just a half mile on foot, for direct fifteen minute runs to Kings Cross via the Victoria line, putting the heart of the city less than a half hour away door to door. The delights of the adjacent Blackhorse Beer Mile are all your as well – a collection of independent breweries, taprooms and beer gardens. The family friendly Big Penny Social is sure to become a favourite. Finally, a few minutes stroll past the station brings you to Walthamstow Wetlands, London's largest nature reserve.

a word from the expert...

"For me it’s the sheer variety you find in each pocket of Walthamstow that makes working and socialising here so enjoyable. Whether it’s having a coffee from Perky Blenders, going for a Sunday morning walk in Epping Forest, dropping into one of the local breweries in Blackhorse Road, or catching up with friends in Lloyd Park, the growth and positive changes within E17 have been incredible in recent years." Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Suffolk Park Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
