"We live in a really wonderful street of kind and warm neighbours. A short walk to both Wanstead and South Woodford, there is never a shortage of lovely coffee shops - two Gail's bakeries in walking distance. There are lovely restaurants and both Wanstead and South Woodford have a lovely farmers markets every month. There's even a cinema and theatre within walking distance. Around the corner from my house I can go down an alley way and I feel like I am on a countryside walk. So many green spaces. I am sad to be leaving as I write this. I am also really going to miss my garden, which has a very open aspect looking out to the forests and is very peaceful."

Beautiful property, great amenities, green space, a wonderful sense of community and excellent transport links, honestly, what’s not to love about South Woodford?

No wonder it’s become such a popular area for families looking to make their money go a little further. For a start, there’s a Marks and Spencer and Waitrose on the vibrant high street, as well as independent stores and eateries. It has incredibly easy access to the City and West End (18 mins to Liverpool St or 27 mins Oxford Circus on the Central line), and with Epping Forest a stone’s throw in the other direction, residents really do feel like they’ve got the best of both worlds. 

No wonder it’s such a happy community. Luckily they’re a friendly, inclusive bunch too, pleased to welcome both new residents and visitors alike.
