"I've lived in the property since February 2019 and will be sad to leave. Every room is a great size, and the flat gets a lot of sun all year - particularly the two bedrooms, the garden, and the lounge during the summer months. Lloyd Park is a few minutes' walk away, where the Saturday Market is always worth a visit. Beyond the park there is a lot of green space in all directions, whether it's Epping Forest, the wetlands and marshes, or the River Lea. I've particularly enjoyed cycling to the Olympic Park and back during my time here. For food & drink Walthamstow Village is a 15-20 minute walk, and Blackhorse Road is just 10-15 minutes."

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space.
