A sublimely appointed three bedroom end of terrace home, designed by Studio Marturano and featuring a huge basement, landscaped garden and still more potential. You're super connected here, just half a mile from a wide choice of stations.

A ten minute stroll brings you to Forest Gate station for the brand new Elizabeth line and speedy sixteen minute runs to Tottenham Court Road. Wanstead Park is four minutes further for the Overground, and a four stop ride for a quick swap at Blackhorse Road for the Victoria line.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll be reclining in your sumptuous 145 square foot lounge with Hague blue walls and ceiling making for a refined solace. Your bay window's elegantly shuttered, the timber floorboards flawless and the chimney breast is home to a beautifully preserved period fireplace. Next door and your dining room's just as covetable, nestled in Sacramento green walls, with bespoke built-in storage and views out to the garden.

Continue through and your kitchen will be your next port of call - in here you've pristine white cabinets, a sparkling white backsplash and lovely leafy views. The ground floor's completed by a handy WC. Back up and through the kitchen door's access to your private rear garden. Out here you'll find a pristine deck ideal for dining al fresco, surrounded by high fences for privacy, and with a lovely verdant canopy overhead.

Head back inside (past access to your enormous 380 square foot basement) and up on the first floor you'll find two beautifully appointed double bedrooms (it's going to be hard to pick a favourite) plus a fine single ideal for a child or home working space. The family bathroom's an immaculate white solace dressed in gleaming white metro tiles with a rainfall shower over the tub. Lastly, you have more developmental possibilities in the loft, where you could perhaps extend skywards in the form of a Dormer conversion (subject to the usual permissions), making this a home that can grow with you and yours.

WHAT ELSE?

- Both Plashet Park and West Ham Park sit within a five minute cycle from your new front door. The epic greenery and cycle paths of Wanstead Flats and Wanstead Park are almost as close and ideal for whizzing around in nature, you can even cut straight through to Leyton Flats.
- An astonishing fourteen schools nearby are rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, including Sandringham Primary, St Angela's and Elmhurst Primary.
- If it's date night then Giovanna's Deli & Wine offer expertly curated vintages alongside handmade pizzas and more, just a half mile on foot. Spicemeisters are spoiled for choice, too: Smit Pure Vegetarian and the Century Bar & Restaurant both serve up delectable Indian cuisine.

a word from the owner...

"We've loved living here and thoroughly enjoyed turning this house into a beautiful home; a lot of care and attention has gone into ensuring every detail is just right. There is a wonderful community feel to the street and wider neighbourhood with amazing independent shops and beautiful green spaces. Our favourite spots are Giovanna's for wonderful wine, the newly renovated Forest Tavern for a good pub quiz and Cups & Jars for delicious treats and sustainable refills. It was made all the better when the Elizabeth Line fully opened as we both work centrally and can get into Soho in around half an hour."

Our Local Guide:
Forest Gate

Westbury Terrace, Forest Gate — Stow Brothers

If you’ve already heard Chiwetel Ejiofor or Idris Elba proudly discussing their hometown, you probably don’t need us to convince you of Forest Gate’s merits, but for those who haven’t, let us catch you up…

With a heritage rooted in culture, it’s not surprising that Forest Gate has a strong creative community today. During just one week in the 60s, the Upper Cut Club music venue there hosted – deep breath – The Who, the Animals, the Spencer Davis Group, Geno Washington and Jimi Hendrix. These days you’re more likely to find the area’s artistic-types supping drinks in the cool cafes and bars. Along with the period property and proximity to green space, this independent scene has been the main draw for new arrivals to the area, although the fact that Forest Gate is now on the Crossrail’s Elizabeth line has definitely helped nudge people in the right direction.
