A gorgeous and characterful three bedroom Victorian terrace with sizeable sociable spaces, conservatory and loft room. Artfully finished from top to bottom, it's all enviably located just a couple of minutes from Leyton Midland Road station.

You've a whole host of entertainment options in easy reach. Not only is our famous destination of Francis Road just stroll away, but the ever-evolving delights of Midland Road Arches are literally around the corner.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll be stretching out in over 1000 square feet of living space behind that immaculate vintage brick frontage. Step inside and the substantial front reception's on your right, with broad blonde engineered hardwood floorboards flowing underfoot throughout and classic bistro shutters on the bay window. To the rear, your 190 square foot kitchen/diner's another superb hosting spot, plentifully spacious with a neat array of teal cabinets and a set of double doors leading out to the conservatory.

Out here everything's nice and bright, naturally, with chessboard flooring and a handy laundry nook. Step out for your garden, an immaculately arranged mix of patio and Trulawn. Upstairs the sleeping arrangements consist of two generous double bedrooms and a sizeable single, all impeccably finished in light pastel tones with original floorboards underfoot. Your family bathroom features both a freestanding, clawfoot tub and dedicated rainfall shower cubicle, while your skylit loft room is equally ideal as a home office or guest room.

The Midland Road Arches just around the corner are becoming yet another of Leyton's go-to spots. The Gravity Well Taproom's been charming craft beer lovers for quite some time, while more recent addition Burnt Steakhouse has been getting some well deserved attention in the national press lately. Both are just a couple of minutes away. Leyton Midland Road station is just as close, for the newly extended Gospel Oak to Barking Riverside line - your direct link to the banks of the River Thames.

WHAT ELSE?

- Five minutes and two stops from Leyton Midland Road and you're at Blackhorse Road, for the Victoria line and fifteen minute connections to King's Cross. Alternatively, Leytonstone tube is just fifteen minutes on foot for the Central line.
- Local schools are chiefly excellent, with six 'Outstanding' primary/secondaries all less than a mile away, plus a further seventeen deemed 'Good'.
- Looking to get back to nature? Abbotts Park, Jack Cornwell Park and Leyton Cricket Ground are all just moments away, or you can take an eighteen minute stroll all the way to Epping Forest and Hollow Ponds. Perfect for picnics.

a word from the owner...

"As soon as we walked through the front door we knew that Wesley Road was the right house for us, and have really loved living here for the past few years. The house itself is packed full of character and we have done our best to honour that as we've made our own improvements over time. The kitchen is our favourite room in the house; it runs across the full width of the property so has acres of space and really feels like the heart of the home. It's a wonderfully light house, and benefits from having a south facing garden so really catches the sun all day - perfect for an al fresco morning breakfasts or afternoon BBQs when the weather allows. Leyton Midland Road is a bit of hidden gem; it's got a real sense of community, and our neighbours are all really friendly and lots of fun to hang out with. Being within walking distance of Francis Road, Walthamstow Village and Leytonstone means you're never short of things to do, and have access to all of the independent shops, coffee shops, restaurants, parks and pubs you could need. On the days when we fancy stretching our legs we'll often wander up to Leyton Flats for a lap of Hollow Pond or head over to Epping Forest to get lost in the woods for an hour, so there's plenty of choice if we want to spend some time in nature before heading back for a quick pint and some food - Gravity Well and Burnt Smokehouse are literally at the bottom of the road. We'll certainly be sad to leave Wesley Road as it's been a great home to us, but the time has finally come for us to leave London and get a bit closer to family. With Abbots Park and Leyton swimming pool on the doorstep it’s been a wonderful place to raise our kids, we've made some amazing memories here."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Wesley Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
