a word from the owner...

"We have loved living at 23 Violet Road, we've created a great space to live where everything is just right, it has everything you need and more. From the working fireplace and underfloor heating in the winter creating a super cozy atmosphere, to the private SW-facing garden (a luxury in London), an incredible suntrap perfect for relaxing and hosting, many many BBQs have been had. Not to mention the garden cabin which adds versatility, we have used it as a fantastic home office and currently, as a fitness studio - it also houses a secret shed. Talking of storage be warned, there is a dangerous amount in the basement! Our favorite spots nearby are Gnarley Vines which is a lovely little independent wine shop where you can sample some incredible wine, they even have a garden open in the summer evenings, Bromleys Cafe is also great for some yummy brunches. You are also only a 10 min walk from Walthamstow village and Walthamstow Central, and let's not forget the Wetlands just down the road. With lovely neighbors, the flat truly offers a wonderful living experience. we will very much miss this gorgeous flat."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Violet Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
