A charming three-bedroom Victorian terrace home with period features, a first floor bathroom, ground floor WC, two reception rooms and a sizeable rear garden, plus the added bonus of potential to extend (great for peace of mind).

It’s a nine minute stroll to Upton Park tube, while Forest Gate is just twenty minutes in the other direction, where you can hop on the Elizabeth line and whizz into the West End.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You can take pride in knowing that you’re nestled between some thriving neighbourhoods, with Forest Gate to the north, West Ham to the east and Upton Park to the south -and there’s plenty of greenery in between (West Ham Park is a 10 minute stroll).

Back in your bright and airy home, you’ll love the considered decor and smart fittings. In the reception room, the bay window, pristine decor and neutral carpeting work together to create a tranquil den. The rear reception room would make a fantastic dining room, although the modern kitchen is spacious enough for a table. During warmer months, you’ll want to make use of the patio, while the garden will be a joy for anyone with green-fingers.

Head beyond the convenient downstairs WC and upstairs and you’ll find three double bedrooms, as well as a family-size bathroom, complete with over-tub shower and glossy metro-brick tiles.

WHAT ELSE?

-Upton Park is served by the District and Hammersmith & City lines. Travel two stops to West Ham for access to the Jubilee line and DLR, or Barking for train services to the Essex seaside.
- Parents will be pleased to know that you have an abundance of good schools nearby.

a word from the owner...

"Living on a quiet, tree-lined street just off the bustling Green Street and 5-10 minutes to Upton Park tube has been a real pleasure. I love being able to stroll down to West Ham park which is just a 5 min walk away. It has a well-kept flower garden where I love spending time reading a book and listening to the birds chirp. With 3 major supermarkets - Tesco, Lidl and Iceland and a plethora of independent grocers just steps away from the house makes it easy to eat healthy and always have fresh food at home. Whenever I feel like eating out there is no shortage of lovely restaurants including all-vegetarian ones within a 5 min walk. This area is rapidly evolving and new cafes popping up and the close proximity to Westfield in Stratford offers incredible convenience to get everything you need without having to travel far."

Our Local Guide:
Forest Gate

Upton Park Road, Forest Gate — Stow Brothers

If you’ve already heard Chiwetel Ejiofor or Idris Elba proudly discussing their hometown, you probably don’t need us to convince you of Forest Gate’s merits, but for those who haven’t, let us catch you up…

With a heritage rooted in culture, it’s not surprising that Forest Gate has a strong creative community today. During just one week in the 60s, the Upper Cut Club music venue there hosted – deep breath – The Who, the Animals, the Spencer Davis Group, Geno Washington and Jimi Hendrix. These days you’re more likely to find the area’s artistic-types supping drinks in the cool cafes and bars. Along with the period property and proximity to green space, this independent scene has been the main draw for new arrivals to the area, although the fact that Forest Gate is now on the Crossrail’s Elizabeth line has definitely helped nudge people in the right direction.
