2 Bedroom

1 Bath

A strikingly appointed and handsomely proportioned two bedroom Abrahams apartment, with dedicated front door and private rear garden. A fine example of the style, you're enviably sat just a few minutes off Francis Road.

You're nicely set back from your peaceful residential street here, by an immaculately paved slate front yard.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

Step through your private front door and your first bedroom's on your left, a handsome 150 square foot with original timber floorboards and an appealing vintage ebony hearth, with eye catching tilework. Bistro shutters sit on the bright bay window. Next door the vintage timber floors continue into your reception room, with a tower radiator and striking two-tone colour scheme, split at the picture rail.

Next along is your kitchen/diner, wonderfully bright and spacious with a generous suite of mint green pastel cabinets, smoky grey worktops and matching floor tiling. A large window illuminates the dining area before you get to your second bedroom to the rear, currently in use as the ideal guest bedroom. Finally your family bathroom rounds things out nicely, with oversized letterbox tiling from floor to ceiling and a rainfall shower over the tub.

Outside and, as noted, you have the independent cafes and coffee spots of Francis Road just moments away, as well as Yardarm wines for when the sun goes down. Whenever you want to venture further afield, Leyton tube is just a half mile on foot for the Central line and direct eleven minute runs to Liverpool Street. That's a City commute of well under a half hour, door to door. Heading to the West End? Tottenham Court Road is just nine minutes further.

WHAT ELSE?

- Your new local could be Francis Road's Northcote Arms, with fine wines, real ales and a regular programme of events from music bingo to live sports.
- Did we mention your garden? It's an artfully landscaped, thirty foot mix of patio and gravel, with raised railway sleeper beds, secluded seating spots and thriving beds.
- If you're looking for local greenery then both Sidmouth Park and the lovely, landscaped Coronation Gardens are just a short walk away. Venture further for Leyton Jubilee Park and the endless greenery of Hackney Marshes.

a word from the owner...

"When we bought the flat in 2021, we started completely from scratch, installing a new Kitchen, Bathroom, Garden and decorating throughout. We have used the front room as our bedroom, but could be easily used as a bright and sunny living room. The sofa in the back room pulls out to a king size sofa bed as we often have people come to stay, but could also be a great office or nursery. Outside, we enjoy the sun from late morning right through to the end of the day, with lovely sunsets over the bottom of the garden. We have had a wonderful 3 years here, Twickenham Road is leafy and quiet with lots of friendly and helpful neighbours. We're are positioned right in the middle of the 4 stations - Leyton and Leytonstone on the Central Line and Midland Road and High Road on The Overground, and just a short walk to the High Road for buses into Walthamstow and Stratford - both areas are walkable within 30 mins too. We have lived in the area for over 12 years and fully recommend it as a place to live."

Our Local Guide:
Leytonstone

Twickenham Road, Leytonstone — Stow Brothers

There’s more to Leytonstone than first meets the eye. Say the name to one person and they might think of the grand houses around Hollow Ponds, while say it to someone else and they’ll mention burgeoning South Leytonstone, or maybe the popular Bushwood. There are many different pockets, but they’re all united by the same inclusive community who recognise that it’s the balance of it all that makes Leytonstone so great.

The centre is arguably the high street with its eclectic shops and eateries, but you only have to venture slightly further away and you’ll come across hidden gems like bar Filly Brook on Grove Green Road, music venue Luna Lounge in Bushwood, or the The Hitchcock Hotel in Upper Leytonstone. Travel a little beyond and you’ll find further contrast with the vast green space that Hollow Ponds and the Wanstead Flats provide. Simply put, you’ll never get bored in Leytonstone.
