IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You’d love coming home to this apartment, located literally at the centre of this friendly local landmark development. This is lateral living at its best, with almost 500 square feet inside and a 550 square foot private garden outside. The apartment is dual aspect, with windows in all rooms. No space is wasted, with rooms radiating out from a small central hallway.

The large living room is sunny and south-facing, with unobstructed views along the cul-de-sac though a charming leaded bay window. The bay easily accommodates a dining table, leaving plenty of space for chairs and a large sofa. The well-equipped kitchen opposite has fitted white wall and floor cabinets, a smart black mosaic tile splashback, and a mix of integrated and freestanding appliances. It has garden views and a glazed door that leads onto a large raised deck that spans the width of the garden and is ideal for dining, relaxing and entertaining. The garden is almost equally divided into areas of decking and lawn and has a shed.

The two double bedrooms are similar in size, both with ample space for double beds and bedroom furniture, and both have pleasant leafy views. The front bedroom is currently used as a guest room and workspace.

The bathroom is a tranquil space. Fully tiled and finished to a high standard, it has a contemporary suite that includes a bath with an overhead shower and glass screen, and a freestanding washbasin and WC. It has excellent natural light and ventilation from an obscured glass opening window.

The property is in excellent condition throughout, with tasteful simple décor, double glazing and gas central heating.

a word from the owner....

"We have loved living in Tudor Court in this quiet cul-de-sac for almost 5 years. The flat is ideally situated for the Walthamstow marshes, the Village, breweries and restaurants/bars. We have enjoyed having the big garden out the back - it has been great to have this additional space as well as having it all to ourselves. The flat is cost efficient to run, even when energy bills (and all other bills) increased over the past year we were fortunate this was still very manageable. The neighbours are lovely and there’s a great community spirit with lots of young families close by."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Tudor Court, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
