IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll be spreading out in over 750 square feet, a wealth of living space to make your own. Your first reception's 140 square feet, with a bay window filling the space with streams of natural light. Walls are pristine white, and there's a fine flow into next door and reception two. A versatile 110 square feet that would make a fine home working space, depending on your needs.

Continue through and your kitchen/diner's a skylit spot home to timber cabinets, gleaming white tiles from floor to shoulder height and plenty of space for dining. Under the arch to the right sits your family bathroom with sparkling chessboard walls, a curved tub and a traditional white suite. Access your garden from here for a timber deck and patio, surrounded by high fences for privacy, plus there's plenty of lush foliage to the rear. An enticing space.

Back inside and head up the stairs for your two double bedrooms. Your principal sleeper comes in at 130 square feet, with twin windows and covetable cherry floorboards underfoot. Bedroom two is 110 square feet and home to smoky taupe timber floorboards and a garden view. Lastly, you've potential to develop skywards into the loft (STPP), adding a whole extra story in the form of a Dormer conversion. A home to grow with your needs (and a fine investment opportunity).

a word from the owner...

"We have loved living on Trumpington Road for the last 10 years, Our children have grown up here and we've enjoyed all the parks - especially Cann Hall Park for the playground, skate park, cafe, and farmers market. And it is amazing to be so close to Wanstead Flats, the Olympic Park, and Westfield too. Its a great area for pubs and restaurants - and the Pretty Decent brewery is right at the end of the street. The road itself is quiet, leafy and very friendly. We're going to miss all our neighbours but we're moving locally so won't be far away."

Our Local Guide:
Forest Gate

Trumpington Road, Forest Gate — Stow Brothers

If you’ve already heard Chiwetel Ejiofor or Idris Elba proudly discussing their hometown, you probably don’t need us to convince you of Forest Gate’s merits, but for those who haven’t, let us catch you up…

With a heritage rooted in culture, it’s not surprising that Forest Gate has a strong creative community today. During just one week in the 60s, the Upper Cut Club music venue there hosted – deep breath – The Who, the Animals, the Spencer Davis Group, Geno Washington and Jimi Hendrix. These days you’re more likely to find the area’s artistic-types supping drinks in the cool cafes and bars. Along with the period property and proximity to green space, this independent scene has been the main draw for new arrivals to the area, although the fact that Forest Gate is now on the Crossrail’s Elizabeth line has definitely helped nudge people in the right direction.
