2 Bedroom

A tremendous two double bedroom apartment on the third floor of a modern brick built development, on a quiet turning off Wood Street. Simply and superbly finished throughout, it's beautifully bright and airy, with generous living spaces.

Inside you'll find more than 850 square feet of space, with two large bedrooms and bathroom with separate shower cubicle. Outside there're large and well kept central communal gardens and playground. It all makes for a great place for a young family, with great schools nearby.

From your second floor entrance hall with plenty space for shoes and coats, walk up to your central hallway on the third floor. Straight ahead is your bathroom, with modern white suite, vanity sink, tub and cubicle shower. Outsize white tiling lies underfoot, and the walls are a cheerful yellow. To the right, past your large built in storage space and another hallway cupboard, is your kitchen, with pristine white units and worktops neatly accented by pale blue grey walls.

Next door is your first bedroom, a generous double of 125 square feet. Light shaded engineered flooring lies underfoot. Back down the hallway you'll find your 180 square foot reception, with double floor to ceiling windows for maximum natural light. The L shaped space lends itself perfectly to easily zoned dining and relaxing areas. To the right is your second bedroom, this one giving you 130 square foot to spread out in.

It's just four minutes on foot to Wood Street station, where the Overground will drop you at Walthamstow for the Victoria Line in just a couple more minutes, or take you on to Liverpool Street in twenty. Ten minutes strolling takes you into Epping Forest past the picturesque community hub of St-Peter-in-the-Forest church. You're also half a mile from the wonderful Walthamstow Village.

a word from the owner...

"We have enjoyed living in our flat for the last 7 years and are sad to be leaving somewhere with many happy memories. The space is really light, warm and comfortable and the flat is really well positioned just off Wood Street, very close to the Overground station. Favourite local spots include the Chocolatine Bakery, Second Nature, Greenway Avenue Community Garden, Wood Street Food Hall and Wood Street Library."

Our Local Guide:

Stocksfield Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
