IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You can take pride in knowing that you have a few little hidden gems on your doorstep, from the up-and-coming community of Plaistow to the burgeoning scene around Upton Park and Forest Gate beyond. You’ve also got a surprising amount of open space nearby considering all the urban buzz - you’re just six minutes from Plaistow Park, while the iconic Docklands area is easily reachable.

Back in your bright and airy home, you’ll love the tasteful decor and considered fittings. In the double reception room, the generous bay window, thoughtful colour palette and original exposed wood flooring work together to create an inviting space. At the rear, you’ll find your stylish kitchen, where highlights include the timber panelled wall, uniquest herringbone tiling and vintage-style basin. Handily you have a utility room next door, perfect for laundry and anything you’d rather keep out of your day-to-day living space.

Head outside to your rear garden, which has a deck and a fantastic array of foliage - the raised beds will be a delight for any green fingered residents.

Back inside, venture upstairs for the two stylishly decorated bedrooms - both have more of those beautiful original wood flooring too. The family-sized bathroom has been smartly designed with modern fixtures and an over-tub shower.

a word froom the owner...

"We have loved our time here in Plaistow. The street is a friendly community and we have made friends with a few different neighbours living on the street. We have enjoyed exploring the area; our weekends have been filled with bike rides along the greenway to Hackney Wick and the Olympic Park; visiting the farmer markets in Leytonstone or taking our son to the lovely library at the bottom of the road which always hosts community activities. We found our favourite butcher, T&J Whenlock, the only original shop front on Barking Road who minces your meat to order. There's so many great cheap casual and authentic regional Indian restaurants, from Saravanaa Bhavan in East Ham and Lahori Nihaari in Upton Park. Forest Gate is a short hop on the bus, where there is a lovely wine bar and craft breweries as well as the open spaces of Wanstead Flats. We have enjoyed having outdoor space which gets plenty of sunlight; growing our own vegetables; and having bbqs on the newly laid decking. The commute to work is a short 10 minute walk to the tube station, which is pleasantly quiet. Driving out of London on the weekends is so easy and can be on the North Circular in 10 minutes."
