a word from the owner...

"From the moment I first stepped into this flat 18 years ago, it felt like home - a feeling that has only deepened with time. The bright, spacious rooms have provided the perfect setting for both peaceful solitude and warm gatherings with friends and family. I particularly enjoy my morning coffee in the kitchen with the morning light, and using the living room for yoga, work and relaxation. With friendly neighbours, the location offers an exceptional balance of urban convenience and natural beauty. Finding Wanstead Park (part of Epping Forest) almost on the doorstep has been a true joy, providing endless opportunities for walks, runs, sitting reading and cycling (and the occasional picnic) among the ponds, woods, and wildlife. The Olympic Park in Stratford is a short bus journey or walk with access to the swimming pool, velodrome and stadium - now home of West Ham. In addition, excellent transport links and Westfield Shopping Centre ensure all amenities and the centre of London are within easy reach. The flat itself is remarkably comfortable, spacious and efficient, maintaining warmth throughout winter with notably low heating bills. This has been a cherished home, where comfort, green spaces and convenience come together perfectly - my hope is the next owner(s) will feel as at home when they walk through the front door."

Our Local Guide:
Leytonstone

Steele Road, Leytonstone — Stow Brothers

There’s more to Leytonstone than first meets the eye. Say the name to one person and they might think of the grand houses around Hollow Ponds, while say it to someone else and they’ll mention burgeoning South Leytonstone, or maybe the popular Bushwood. There are many different pockets, but they’re all united by the same inclusive community who recognise that it’s the balance of it all that makes Leytonstone so great.

The centre is arguably the high street with its eclectic shops and eateries, but you only have to venture slightly further away and you’ll come across hidden gems like bar Filly Brook on Grove Green Road, music venue Luna Lounge in Bushwood, or the The Hitchcock Hotel in Upper Leytonstone. Travel a little beyond and you’ll find further contrast with the vast green space that Hollow Ponds and the Wanstead Flats provide. Simply put, you’ll never get bored in Leytonstone.
