3 Bedroom

This stylishly restored three-bedroom end-of-terrace home is situated in fantastic spot in Chingford where it’s as easy to get on the Overground to Central London as it is to explore the sprawling woodlands of Epping Forest.

Coming in at 1169 square foot, it’s an impressively spacious property with two bathrooms, a 31 foot rear garden and immaculate decor throughout.

Beyond that pristine brick-fronted facade, you’ll find a wonderfully proportioned home where every inch has been considered for the optimum layout. On the ground floor, your dine-in kitchen extends directly off your spacious reception room, providing an abundance of natural light and open living environment whilst still retaining two separate areas. The decor is bright and neutral, creating the perfect base for any of your own personal touches.

In the kitchen, you’ll find sleek units and stylish touches such as the metro brick tiles - and when the sun is shining, you’ll want to throw open those patio doors and enjoy your well maintained garden, which features a sizeable lawn and storage shed.

On the first floor, you have two immaculate bedrooms and a modern bathroom, while in the converted loft you’ll come across another smart bedroom and bathroom, plus plenty of eaves storage.

Back outside, there’s a great amount of green space nearby. As well as being so close to Epping Forest, you’ll find Pimp Hall Park a short distance away, which has been home to some fantastic events.

Chingford itself has a thriving food and drink scene. You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to Thai food, with the Rusty Bike pub and Patpong Thai both serving up fantastic food with authentic flavour. Wilsons fish and chips, which has been keeping customer happy for almost a hundred years, is another great option for takeout, as is iconic institution Robins Pie & Mash.

You’ll love being so close to nature but also within easy reach of the city; Chingford station is six minutes away on foot, where you can whizz into Liverpool Street on the overground in half an hour.

- You’re less than a mile away from Ridgeway Park, home to the Chingford & District Model Engineering Club, where members of the public can ride on the model railway on Sundays.
- Drivers can be on the M25 or North Circular in around 10 minutes.
- Parents will be pleased to know that there are plenty of excellent primary and secondary schools in the area - one of the reasons why Chingford is so popular.

a word from the owner...

"We have absolutely loved living in this modern house since 2018. North Chingford is a unique area as it combines the charm of the countryside with lots of stunning natural spaces including a Golf Course and Epping Forest with the fantastic connections to the City centre via the Overground line with its new trains. The only reason we are selling this property is that we are leaving the UK but otherwise we would have stayed for many more years."

Our Local Guide:

Stanley Road, Chingford — Stow Brothers

Chingford has flourished more quickly than people have caught on in recent years, making it something of a well kept secret for locals (it wasn’t us who told you). Full of village charm but only 26 minutes from central London, it’s easy to see the appeal.

With sprawling parks in the centre and the 6,000-acre Epping Forest lining the northern boundary, there’s more open space than you can shake a native hornbeam stick at, no wonder that Chingford has spawned two England football captains in recent decades.

For those looking to refuel after burning off all that energy in nature, there’s a thriving food and drink scene, although let’s be clear that the area’s admired status pre-dates the macchiato. Local historical landmark the Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge was built for Henry VIII way back in 1543.
