A classic three bedroom Victorian mid terrace with twin receptions and a substantial west-facing garden, nestled on a leafy Street in Chapel End. Here Wood Street, Epping Forest and Walthamstow Village all sit within a fifteen minute walk.

Chestnuts Fields is two minutes' stroll around the corner, from here you can cut across to Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre for a swim or gym, or continue on for our borough's green gem of Lloyd Park. Whether you like to march or mooch it's a brilliant spot to immerse in nature.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll be breathing new life into this brilliant abode. It's brimming with potential - from the Art Deco fireplace, to the lengthy garden, to the possible loft conversion (STPP). Starting in your 130 square foot lounge, you have leafy street views through the bay window, a vintage ceiling rose, and that Art Deco hearth all set to become a talking point. The 120 square foot dining room's home to a garden view and a vintage mantel for a fireplace that could be reinstated. The east and west facing aspects makes these rooms perfect candidates for a through lounge.

Next door the dual aspect kitchen's ripe for extension into both two storage spaces - one inside and one out. Another tempting prospect. Through the kitchen door and your west-facing garden's fifty foot long and all set to be transformed into an urban solace - perhaps a raised timber deck to the rear to catch the sunshine? Or a pergola dressed in climbing plants accenting different areas. The possibilities are endless. Lastly, upstairs sit two double bedrooms with a vintage fireplace apiece, a single with garden views and the light-filled family bathroom.

Outside and it's twelve minutes on foot to Wood Street station for the Overground, where regular trains will whisk you to Liverpool Street in twenty minutes. Alternatively, ride one stop for Walthamstow Central and a quick swap to the speedy Victoria line. Looking for a new favourite place? A fifteen minute stroll will bring you to the sublime wining and dining establishments of Walthamstow Village. Try a mocktail in Bargo, sample a fine vintage at hometipple, or meet up with friends in Instagrammable neon wonderland God's Own Junkyard.

a word from the owner...

"The property has a good sized garden, which is quiet and secluded. The house is spacious and would make a lovely family home. Neighbours on ether side are quiet and kind. A short walk up he road brings you to a couple of grocery stores, an excellent Mediterranean restaurant and a busy local café. Also transport links to the Overground Station in Wood Street and central Walthamstow, particularly Walthamstow Central station. Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

St. John’s Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
