For authentic tapas, head to the much loved Don Francisco y la Luna.

"The Essex Brewery has been a fantastic home for us over the last four years, which we are immensely sad to leave. Our home has been a spacious and inspiring base for us to live and work. It is well connected to central London and the surrounding areas with Hackney, Epping Forest and Central London only 15-20 minutes by public transport. Also a top-tip that many don't realise is that you can get the East-West Overground to Hampstead Heath in less than 30 minutes. There is so much on our doorstep from long walks on the Wetlands and Marshes, plenty of places for a good pint of local beer, lots of independent restaurants and wine bars, and fantastic local cultural events throughout the year. Our favourite weekends have usually been staying at home or locally, with us rarely having to walk further than 15-20 minutes. We have made friends with so many lovely and like-minded people in the area and will greatly miss hosting BBQs and dinner parties on our balcony overlooking the London skyline. The view is absolutely spectacular, particularly on New Years Eve when fireworks across the city fill the night sky."

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too. 

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
