3 Bedrooms

1 Bath

An artfully appointed three bedroom family Victorian terrace, immaculately finished and bursting with character. You have a wealth of sociable space, luxurious rear garden and handsome skylit loft room, all just moments from Highams Park.

The expanse of rolling greenery that gives the area its name, Highams Park, is less than a half mile on foot, with superb views over London and the famous Highams Park lake.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll be stretching out in over 1300 square feet of living space laid out across three substantial storeys. Your elegantly segmented through lounge is twenty four foot in length, with amtico floorboards flowing underfoot and the first of several ornate vintage-style hearth and mantel sets. It's all dual aspect and bright, with classic plantation shutters sat on the large bay window.

Next door and your 200 square foot kitchen/diner also makes for a fine hosting hub. One wall is exposed brick, the other finished in tranquil forest green. Sleek glossy cabinets run down either side, with matte white worktops and matching metro tile splash-backs. Bi-folding patio doors to the rear illuminate the dining area and open the whole space up to your rear garden.

And quite a garden it is, a spotless large format patio gives way to a zero maintenance length lawn surrounded by raised sleepers beds and high timber fencing for seclusion. Back inside, and all three bedrooms are solid doubles of 100 to 180 square foot, each with its own signature palette. Finally your family bathroom's finished in stately dove grey, with rustic letterbox detailing.

WHAT ELSE?

- Highams Park station is less than five minutes on foot for direct twenty three minute runs to Liverpool Street. Alternatively, Walthamstow Central is just two stops and five minutes down for the Victoria line.
- Did we mention your loft room? A bright and skylit 140 square feet, this is the ideal home working space.
- Parents will be pleased to know you have no fewer than fifteen 'Good' or 'Outstanding' local schools, all less than a mile away on foot.

a word from the owner....

"We have loved living on Silverdale Road for the last seven years. Everyone is super friendly and kind, aided by the sociable street WhatsApp group. Highams Park has a fantastic local community and great amenities such as coffee shops, restaurants and vibrant shops. We run and cycle, and have been spoilt for choice with the Highams Park, the lake and Epping Forest on our doorstep. It's the perfect location - a village feel with easy access to the city. We've loved our house and stayed longer than we ever intended. We will really miss it, and hope we can replicate the happiness we've found here in our new location."

Our Local Guide:
Highams Park

Silverdale Road, Highams Park — Stow Brothers

Not everyone in the capital has heard of Highams Park, and that’s only a good thing. Although it’s well connected to Central London on the Overground to Liverpool Street, it’s tucked out of sight enough to ensure that the picturesque woodland and coffee shops have a slightly exclusive feel. That’s not to say that the locals are a cliquey bunch though – far from it, they’ve been welcoming savvy families and individuals after a little more bang for their buck for years.

All the extra space offered up from Epping Forest and Highams Park itself might be the main draw, but newcomers stay for the perks; the silver-lining of the secret slowly getting out is a vibrant and buzzing community which has created a lively food and drink scene.
