An elegant three double bedroom Victorian mid terrace spread across three storeys, with twin receptions and a South-east-facing garden enveloped in greenery. Outside, you're surrounded by both natural retreats and transport connections.

This fine find is nestled on a quiet residential street in our Coppermill neighbourhood, a lovely locale packed with history, where copper ingots were once stamped into halfpenny coins.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll be cooking up a storm in your dual aspect kitchen, delectably appointed in an on-trend palette of dusky pink and parakeet green. Slate tiles sit underfoot, a smart suite of cream units provide a wealth of storage space and a constellation of recessed spotlights twinkle overhead. Open the door to step out onto your twenty foot, south-east-facing garden. Here a patio gives way to a raised lawn flanked by thriving beds with nothing but mature greenery on the horizon. Idyllic.

Head back inside, this time via your immaculate dining room, where pendulum lights illuminate the proceedings. Laid open to your lounge with clear sightlines from front to back, here the substantial proportions of your new home are wonderfully apparent, with broad blonde engineered hardwood underfoot. It all totals an impressive 280 square feet, while to the front you have a bay window and ornate vintage fireplace.

Head up the stairs for two double bedrooms, the largest coming in at a magnificent 185 square feet with leafy street views to lull you to sleep. The family bathroom's a splendid space with a dedicated rainfall shower and separate tub, floating cabinets and patina effect flourishes. Lastly, the dual aspect loft sleeper is a sizeable 270 square feet with a wealth of built-in storage, en suite shower room and yet more gorgeous green views.

Outside and our Green Flag award-winning, 500 acre Walthamstow Wetlands starts just five minutes from your front door whenever you want to blow away the cobwebs. Meanwhilethe more modest greenery of St James Park is right around the corner. If you're heading further afield a ten minute walk brings you to St James Park station for the Overground to Liverpool Street, a journey of around a quarter of an hour, so you can be in the City within a half hour door to door. Alternatively it's only sixteen minutes' stroll to Blackhorse Road station for the superfast Victoria line and fast connections to Kings Cross.

WHAT ELSE?

- Your new local is The Coppermill, a traditional CAMRA pub with warm welcomes aplenty. Just a three minute stroll around the corner.
- You've a secure bike hanger right outside, ideal for joining the Lea Valley Cycle Path on Argall Way for multiple East End destinations. Perfect for exploring and City commutes alike.
- Nearby schools rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted include South Grove Primary and St Saviour's CofE. Both are fifteen minutes on foot or five by bike.

a word from the owner...

"We have loved our time living on Salop Road and have been here for over a decade. With its welcoming community, we haven't ever struggled to feel at home and our children have benefited from going to one of the several excellent primary schools that are just a short walk away. Our house is spacious with 3 double rooms and we have enjoyed starting our family here. We like to spend time outside and enjoy our sunny south facing garden and the huge amount of green space that exists so close to our house, whether it is walking in St James' Park or cycling through the marshes off-road to Stratford. Work wise, the city is easily accessible from St James Street or Blackhorse Road tube and we sometimes cycle in via the nearby canal."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Salop Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
