a word from the owner...

"Despite growing up locally I hadn't spent much time in this bit of Tottenham before living here, so I was really keen to explore when I bought 6 years ago, and I've been delighted by all its hidden gems! The transport links - being able to access the Piccadilly line via both Turnpike Lane and Woodgreen so easily, as well as the newly renovated While Hart Lane Overground - were big draws initially. But discovering the short walks to Downhills Park and Bruce Castle Park with their lovely cafes, museum and playgrounds; as well as the beautiful Tottenham cemetery and amazing community pub the Antwerp ('Annie') Arms have all been wonderful. Despite such easy access to transport and the A10, the house itself has felt like a sanctuary. It's a very quiet road and I love how light it is, especially how sunny the kitchen-diner gets in the mornings. The garden is south west facing so gets sun all year round and the veranda is gorgeous, even in the autumn and winter. I'm not a parent myself, but I've heard great things about the nursery at the end of the road and their little community garden always looks lovely. Alexandra palace and Crouch End (and its incredible outdoor lido) are just a short bus or cycle ride away, and new restaurants, pubs and outdoor hang-out spots / breweries seem to be popping up in Tottenham all the time, as well as the fabulous weekend markets and summer events in the local parks, which seem to get bigger every year. I love it so much, and as I'm not actually planning on moving a million miles away, I'm excited to see what emerges next"
