This bright and modern two double bedroom apartment is superbly located between the enduringly popular communities of Walthamstow Village and Wood Street. Set within a contemporary and well maintained low rise building, this lovely apartment is beautifully presented with a large open plan kitchen diner and separate reception room opening out onto your private balcony, offering treetop views of the local area.

The location is really something special; moments from the ultra-hip Ravenswood Estate - which is home to breweries and taprooms, a gin palace and neon palace God’s Own Junkyard, a stone's throw from local favourites Made in Portugal and newly opened The Lacy Nook, and with excellent link to transport links it’s easy to see why this area maintains its popularity.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

This larger than average two bedroom apartment unfolds over 750 square metres. As mentioned you have a gorgeous reception room with multi aspect windows, opening out onto the balcony. You’ll love this spot for an evening tipple of your choice, it's also a great place for alfresco dining and is waiting to be filled with luscious pot plants. Back inside and the kitchen is expertly appointed, with stylish wood effect cabinets and dark marble countertops, perfectly complimenting the slate grey flooring. You have ample room for a dining table here, creating a wonderfully social space to entertain friends. Both of your bedrooms are sun filled doubles, with one bedroom having the additional feature of a charming Juliet balcony. Decor is modern and fresh here and throughout, with neutral walls and snuggly grey carpets. The bathroom is an equally chic affair, with a pristine three piece suite, including shower over tub feature as well as some super handy built-in storage, an essential in any busy home. Outside you have well maintained communal spaces, as well as access to a convenient communal bike hanger. Exploring the local area by bike is a pleasure, especially passing through Walthamstow Village, which is especially bike friendly thanks to Orford Road being part -pedestrianised. Full of cafes, shops and bars, we are sure you’ll spend many happy times meeting friends here, having a drink in the Nags Head beer garden, or picking up a delicious and fresh poke bowl from Peeld.

WHAT ELSE?

- A 16 minute walk in a Westerly direction takes you to Walthamstow Central Station. From here you can pick up both the Victoria Line on the tube network and the Overground Network into Liverpool Street via Hackney. This Overground Line also runs through Wood Street, which is a little over 6 minutes walk to the East.
- As mentioned you are close to so many of the Boroughs favourite places to eat and drink. We already mentioned a few, but we also recommend trying out Arte e Pasta for delicious Italian food and cocktails, or The Station Yard Cafe for an authentic fry up - pop to independently owned Lancasters next door to pick up some gorgeous pot plants after getting your brekkie fix.
- For enjoying some nature, you are a short walk from Hollow Ponds, on the edge of Epping Forest. This picturesque corner of the Borough has a boating lake as well as acres of forest to explore.

a word from the expert...

"For me it’s the sheer variety you find in each pocket of Walthamstow that makes working and socialising here so enjoyable. Whether it’s having a coffee from Perky Blenders, going for a Sunday morning walk in Epping Forest, dropping into one of the local breweries in Blackhorse Road, or catching up with friends in Lloyd Park, the growth and positive changes within E17 have been incredible in recent years." Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Rosslyn Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
