A sleek and immaculate two bedroom Victorian terrace, sat in the heart of Walthamstow with so much that makes our borough so special at your fingertips. To the rear you have a skylit sun room as well as a gorgeously secluded rear deck.

Blackhorse Road station is less than a half mile on foot and will get you directly to Kings Cross in fifteen minutes via the Victoria line - putting central London less than a half hour away door to door.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll step inside and find your 140 square foot lounge on the right. Elegantly appointed, with classic timber shutters on the bay window and ash blonde hardwood underfoot, it's a superb spot for welcoming guests and a fine introduction. A pristine white paintjob sits opposite deep turquoise statement walls, setting the tone right away. Next door, your kitchen/diner's just as much of a showstopper, with royal blue cabinets sat below marbled counters.

The space is neatly zoned by a breakfast bar sat below pendulum lighting, there's a handy desk nook under the stairs and natural light flows in from the skiylit sun room, giving onto your rear deck, where thriving greenery sits opposite a timber pergola, with striking bespoke timber fencing at the end. Your ground floor's completed by a spare WC, while upstairs both bedrooms are bright, substantial doubles, each leading to your Jack & Jill bathroom where you'll find a wall of marbled tiling and a rainfall shower over the teardrop shaped tub.

Outside, and just past the tube station Blackhorse Road is also home to the much loved Blackhorse Beer Mile, a collection of craft breweries, taprooms and beer gardens. Craft Beer lovers will be in heaven. Alternatively, if it's nature you're craving, then London's largest nature reserve, our 500 acre Walthamstow Wetlands, is just fifteen minutes on foot or five by bike. Packed with things to see and do, it's the perfect place to blow away the cobwebs.

WHAT ELSE?

- If you prefer your nature more manicured, then the landscaped gardens of Lloyd Park are less than a half mile on foot, home to courts, cafes and a thriving Saturday farmers market.
- With your loft space so far unexplored, you have scope to add your own Dormer extension, as some of your neighbours have done (subject to the usual permissions).
- Heading to the City? St James Street overground station is around a fifteen minute walk away, and will get you straight to Liverpool Street in twenty.

a word from the owner...

"The community both in and around Renness Road is wonderful, and although its location is within walking distance to all local amenities (including the brewery mile, Lloyd park, the high street and the Village), there is little traffic so the area feels very peaceful. The area really caters for all and also has excellent transport links, allowing for an easy daily commute into central London. When originally purchasing the house I wasn't looking for a project, but loved the space and the location so much that I took the gamble. The initial works saw every inch of the house transformed and upgraded, and following that I have taken time to select the best accessories and materials for a quality finish. The final piece was the design of the new back garden - the feature wall is one of my favourite things about the property. Although I've not been able to stay here for as long as I'd have wished, I hope I've helped create a space that the new owners will love, with plenty of room for some added personality."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Renness Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
