we have lived here for 6 years and have absolutely loved the flat and its location. it's a cute little two bed flat with high ceilings and lots of natural light. over the years we've made it our own by building in a bespoke plywood kitchen and two three-door wardrobes for storage we didn't have before. the second room is used for friends and family who stay over from time to time with a pull out futon bed. and the room also doubles up as a study for working from home days.

We're meters away from Hackney Downs Park where we'll walk a loop round in the mornings stopping off for a coffee across the park at Brunswick East Bake House. As you walk round the park you'll see a number of tennis courts with views over London's skyline, basket ball courts, and football pitches. In the summer the basketball courts and players double up with skate board ramps and skaters. Evening Frisbee matches take place on the fields along with 11 a side football matches. On the corner of the park and 2 minute walk from the flat is our favourite pub in Hackney, The Star, a vibrant pub with weekend DJS, a decked outdoor area popular all year round and local craft beers on tap. We love the fact that we're so close to London Fields, Chatsworth Road, Stoke Newington and Clapton where we're spoilt for choice for coffee spots, pubs and restaurants. The estate itself is a pleasant place to live with friendly neighbours, young families and a few old timers including Osman our 80yr old neighbour, a celebrity among the residents here. The estate is safe, flat secure and the perfect place for a young couple or young friends ready to buy for the first time - or perhaps for a buyer wanting to cash in on high rental or AirBnB prices, being such a sought after area.
