Benefiting from easy access to Highams Park, Chingford and Walthamstow, this spacious three-bedroom Victorian terrace home sits in a fantastic spot on the edge of Epping Forest.

On the outside there’s a driveway and spacious garden, while the 1067 square foot interior (and not including the handy cellar) packs in a sizeable through lounge, an extended kitchen-diner, a first floor family bathroom, three double bedrooms - and period features throughout. What’s more, it’s all been tastefully decorated, so you can enjoy it from the day you move in.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You’ll love how the property balances modern updates with traditional design. For instance, in your large through lounge, light floods through the large bay windows to highlight both the smart decor and features, such as the stunning fireplace surround and coving. Meanwhile, the dine-in kitchen has a contemporary air with its sleek lines and fitted units, with the side extension ensuring there’s plenty of room for dining together as a family.

Outside you’ll find your spacious rear garden with a lawn and charming patio area. You’ve got a shed at the rear, but don’t forgot the cellar space for more storage.

On the first floor, the three double bedrooms are all smartly decorated and a good size. The bathroom is bright and contemporary, with a tub and walk-in shower, and the landing area is spacious, with a hatch leading up to the unconverted loft.

Beyond your front garden, you’ll love how this whole area balances rural charm with urban energy. It’s full of great eateries; the award-winning Grand Trunk Road, which features in the Michelin Guide 2022, is a few minutes on foot from your front door, while a short stretch further, you can experience excellent Turkish fusion food at Lokkum.

Down in South Woodford, you’ve also got a brilliant selection of supermarkets, including a Waitrose and M&S, and the area even has its own Art Deco cinema, which is a mere 10 minute walk away from your home.

As well its close proximity to Epping Forest, the home benefits from having Churchfields Park on its doorstep, a haven for families and dog walkers. It’s all so wonderfully green, you’ll easily forget that you’re only 45 mins from the centre of the capital.

WHAT ELSE?

-South Woodford station is 17 minutes on foot - or three stops on the bus. From here the Central line can take you to Liverpool Street in just 20 mins.
- Parents will be pleased to learn there’s an abundance of great primary and secondary schools in the area.
-Drivers - already happy about the driveway, will be pleased to know that they can be on the North Circular in just a few minutes, or the M25 in around 10 mins.

Peel Road, South Woodford — Stow Brothers

Beautiful property, great amenities, green space, a wonderful sense of community and excellent transport links, honestly, what’s not to love about South Woodford?

No wonder it’s become such a popular area for families looking to make their money go a little further. For a start, there’s a Marks and Spencer and Waitrose on the vibrant high street, as well as independent stores and eateries. It has incredibly easy access to the City and West End (18 mins to Liverpool St or 27 mins Oxford Circus on the Central line), and with Epping Forest a stone’s throw in the other direction, residents really do feel like they’ve got the best of both worlds.

No wonder it’s such a happy community. Luckily they’re a friendly, inclusive bunch too, pleased to welcome both new residents and visitors alike.
