a word from the owners......

"We have loved our time on Pearcroft Road. The location is great, being able to walk down to Francis Road for coffee and to pop to the pub for a weekend drink. We have been blessed with fantastic neighbours who we will be sad to leave, there is a really friendly community on Pearcroft Road. The flat itself has been wonderful, enjoying summer evenings in the Garden with a BBQ. It's been an amazing place to start our family and we will really miss living here."

Our Local Guide:

Pearcroft Road, Leytonstone — Stow Brothers

There’s more to Leytonstone than first meets the eye. Say the name to one person and they might think of the grand houses around Hollow Ponds, while say it to someone else and they’ll mention burgeoning South Leytonstone, or maybe the popular Bushwood. There are many different pockets, but they’re all united by the same inclusive community who recognise that it’s the balance of it all that makes Leytonstone so great.

The centre is arguably the high street with its eclectic shops and eateries, but you only have to venture slightly further away and you’ll come across hidden gems like bar Filly Brook on Grove Green Road, music venue Luna Lounge in Bushwood, or the The Hitchcock Hotel in Upper Leytonstone. Travel a little beyond and you’ll find further contrast with the vast green space that Hollow Ponds and the Wanstead Flats provide. Simply put, you’ll never get bored in Leytonstone.

Transport links

Great Pubs

Too many pubs to choose from… What a problem to have. With The Red Lion, Heathcote and Star, The Hitchcock Hotel, The North Star, Leytonstone Tavern, locals are spoilt for choice. Better bring your pub crawl A-game if you visit.

Plenty of period property

Despite all the urban bustle, Leytonstone has an abundance of wide, tree-lined streets brimming Victorian and Edwardian property, ranging from the grand homes in Upper Leytonstone, a stone’s throw from Hollow Ponds, to the many terraces of South Leytonstone, and the popular community of Bushwood with its active residents’ association.
