This bright and spacious four-bedroom Victorian mid-terrace home has been beautifully restored and comes complete with a converted loft, two bathrooms plus a WC, a double reception room, and a large garden at the rear.

Its prime location between Walthamstow Central, Lloyd Park, Blackhorse Road and St James Street means you can enjoy the perks - and transport links - of multiple neighbourhoods. The best of many worlds.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

Thanks to its pristine condition, you can instantly welcome friends and family into your beautiful 1270 square foot home. The double-reception room is full of period charm and awash with natural light thanks to the dual aspect windows. The feature fireplace and ornate cornicing are a reminder of the home’s Victorian roots, but the immaculate decor and polished finished bring it all bang up to date.

At the rear, the kitchen is just as spotless, with shaker-style units, stylish tiling and integrated appliances. In summer you can spill outside and enjoy your spacious lawn and patio, and you also have the convenience of a group floor WC.

On the first floor, the three pristine bedrooms have been thoughtfully decorated. The bathroom is smart and modern, with glossy tiling and an over-tub shower. The bedroom in the converted loft is a masterclass in design, with a soft colour palette, eaves storage, dressing room and en-suite.

Beyond your front yard, you’re in a brilliant spot for exploring E17. As well as being a hub for coffee shops, bars and eateries, there’s an abundance of green space; it’s a ten minute stroll to Lloyd Park, where you’ll also find the William Morris Gallery.

Also ten minutes away, you’ll find the award-winning pizzeria Sodo on Hatherley Mews, an area that’s enjoying a fantastic regeneration thanks to the imminent arrival of Walthamstow Soho Theatre. Or head a similar distance towards Blackhorse Road where you’ll find the much-lauded vegan-friendly Slow Burn and ever-popular bottle shop Forest Wines.

You’re also a five minute stroll from Europe’s longest market, which runs along the High Street. Here you’ll find Forest Cinema and the 17&Central shopping centre. Walthamstow Village isn’t that much further if you want to continue your exploring.

Blackhorse Road station is 0.5 miles away, where you can access the speedy Victoria line and the Overground route running between Barking and Gospel Oak. Or head slightly further to Walthamstow Central or St James Street if you want to access the Overground directly to Liverpool Street - they’re both around 0.7 miles away.

WHAT ELSE?
- Just 13 minutes from you is East of Eden, a studio offering yoga, pilates and spin whenever you need to do some serious stretching.
- Just 10 mins away you’ve got an original Banksy, preserved within the Bonners fish and chip shop signage. Grab some delicious takeout and soak up some culture worth bragging about.
- Parents will be pleased to learn that you have some great primary and secondary schools in the area.

a word from the owner...

"We love the location of this house, so close to Lloyd Park and Walthamstow Wetlands and it's so handy for accessing Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Central tube stations. We also benefit from being so close to the High Street and its range of cafes and supermarkets. Our local go-tos are Yasar's for tasty Turkish food, Sri Lakshmi for award-winning Indian food and coffee from Jaunty!"

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Palmerston Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
