IF YOU LIVED HERE

You'll be relaxing with friends and family in your gorgeous 185 square foot lounge/diner, with sumptuous carpet underfoot, twin windows framing leafy street views and built-in storage flanking the chimney breast. Next door and your kitchen comes decked out in immaculate grey cabinets, complete with fully integrated appliances and a handy magnetic knife rack.

Continue up the stairs, past some useful storage space, for your dual aspect principal bedroom. Coming in at a substantial 160 square feet it's an exquisite sleeper with enticing green views, pale pink walls and a built-in wardrobe. Head down the stairwell of this fine Victorian conversion for bedroom two - an ample double with another leafy vista. The bathroom's a gleaming solace, with inset rainfall shower over the tub and a separate WC. Lastly, your garden's a generous length just awaiting green fingers and landscaping ideas.

Walthamstow High Street is just three minutes' walk for a comprehensive range of shops, supermarkets and amenities. Stroll a few minutes further and you come to Walthamstow Mall, Walthamstow Central Station (for direct twenty minute runs to the City and West End) and the Empire Cinema entertainment complex, with a wide array of restaurants on and around Hoe Street. From here Walthamstow Village is a five minute stroll and well worth a visit - its historic streets host esoteric eateries, artisanal shops and charming foodie pubs.

a word from the owners...

"We've loved our time living here. The flat really stood out as soon as we viewed it because of the high ceilings, split-levels and space! It has a lot of character and we felt it was really unique versus the usual style of property in the neighbourhood. The location is great with Walthamstow Central and Blackhorse Road just 10 minute walks away. At weekends we enjoyed walks through Lloyd Park, drinks at the pub on the road and the shops and cafes round the corner at St James."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Palmerston Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
