This modern two bedroom apartment is on the first floor of a two storey block. With a communal garden, allocated parking space, and a quiet cul-de-sac location just over ten minutes’ walk from the shops and station in South Woodford, Snaresbrook station, and popular Wanstead High Street, this apartment has a lot to offer.

IF YOU LIVED HERE

You’d come through your front door into a large central hallway with two built-in storage cupboards, the main living rooms to one side, both bedrooms to the other, and the bathroom in between.

The main living area is light and sunny, with south-facing windows along both the living room and kitchen walls. This space comprises a large, square living room with an open doorway to the adjacent galley kitchen. This is well-equipped, with a range of handleless white gloss wall and floor cabinets, integrated and freestanding appliances, a breakfast bar, and a south-facing window.

Both the main bedroom and second double bedroom are a good size, with leafy views over the communal garden. The contemporary metro-tiled bathroom has a large walk-in shower, contemporary basin and WC, and lots of natural light from an opening window.

The property has plenty of storage space, including a large and easily accessible boarded loft (with electrics).
Outside there’s a large lawned communal garden with leafy surroundings and a mature tree in the centre, and an allocated off-road parking space next to the building.

a word from the owners...

"We have lived in this flat for the last 5 years and have found it to be the perfect place to start off as a young couple and then bring up our little family, however, as our family expands it's time for us to move on. We have loved living in Wanstead, with it's village like feel and great sense of community, especially on our road. There's also great selection of pubs and restaurants, The Duke and Luppolo being our favourites! The location of our flat means that we're only 10-15 minutes walk to Snaresbrook station, which has been great for us to get into work and into town. There are a number of large supermarkets nearby as well, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose as well as the smaller shops on Wanstead and South Woodford High Street. There's also a lot of green space around as Epping Forest is right on your doorstep, and plenty to do if that's not your cup of tea being in the heart of East London. Wanstead also has a great selection of nurseries and schools. We have loved every minute of living in Wanstead and will always come back to visit as we've made so many great friends and will miss it very much."

Our Local Guide:
Wanstead

Osprey Close, Wanstead — Stow Brothers

Thanks to its royal connections and grand properties, Wanstead has previously been compared to the likes of Twickenham and Richmond, although East Londoners are quick to point out that it has plenty enough merits of its own.

For a start, despite its villagey feel, it’s proudly nestled within London’s most creative quadrant and only a short hop on the Central line from the bright lights of the City. There’s also an abundance of green space – Wanstead Flats, Epping Forest, Wanstead Park and Chalet Wood, with the seasonal display of bluebells in the latter just calling out for an accompanying picnic from one of the well-stocked local delis or cafes. But that’s not to say that Wanstead’s charming pubs and restaurants aren’t delightful to look at themselves – it’ll be deciding which to go for that’s the problem.
