An artfully appointed and pristinely polished two bedroom Victorian terrace, with two bathrooms and a private garden with substantial outbuilding. You're perfectly placed too, with Forest Gate station and the Elizabeth line just half a mile on foot.
Your gorgeous rear garden is an elegantly landscaped mix of patio and lawn, secluded with timber fencing, lush foliage, mature greenery and of course that large outbuilding, perfect for home working.
IF YOU LIVED HERE...
First stop will be your front reception room. Naturally bright with bistro shutters on the bay window, original timber flooring underfoot and a jet black vintage hearth and mantel. To the rear you have a second reception, similarly sized and styled below designer pendant lighting .
To the rear your dual aspect kitchen's a sleek combination of white cabinetry, stone flooring, dark quartz style worktops and mosaic splashbacks, with direct access to that sizeable garden. Upstairs your family bathroom, glorious in royal blue and white metro tilework, sits off your back bedroom. Finally your handsome 140 square foot principal sleeper features a similarly stylish en suite.
Outside, and the epic greenery of Wanstead Flats, once the favoured playground of Tudor kings and queens, and still some of the wildest wide open space for miles around, is just a third of a mile on foot. Great for a morning run, you can wander for miles here, or simply to your heart's content. Also close at hand is Forest Gate station, just half a mile on foot for direct thirteen minute runs to Liverpool Street.

Our Local Guide:
Forest Gate
If you’ve already heard Chiwetel Ejiofor or Idris Elba proudly discussing their hometown, you probably don’t need us to convince you of Forest Gate’s merits, but for those who haven’t, let us catch you up…
With a heritage rooted in culture, it’s not surprising that Forest Gate has a strong creative community today. During just one week in the 60s, the Upper Cut Club music venue there hosted – deep breath – The Who, the Animals, the Spencer Davis Group, Geno Washington and Jimi Hendrix. These days you’re more likely to find the area’s artistic-types supping drinks in the cool cafes and bars. Along with the period property and proximity to green space, this independent scene has been the main draw for new arrivals to the area, although the fact that Forest Gate is now on the Crossrail’s Elizabeth line has definitely helped nudge people in the right direction.

Great Pubs
Wine bars, gastro pubs, microbrews, traditional boozers… With so many drinking establishments in Forest Gate, taking ‘a trip to the local’ can be a tricky decision. The CiderHouse, The Holly Tree and Forest Gate Tavern are just a few of the places to choose between.
Plenty of period property
Forest Gate has an abundance of Victorian housing, ranging from terraces in the area dubbed ‘Forest Gate Village’ to semis and detached in the Woodgrange Estate conservation area. Whether you’re after a doer-upper or recently renovated period property, there should be something for your budget.
