IF YOU LIVED HERE...

First port of call will be your 110 square foot front room, with richly restored vintage floorboards underfoot. Your dedicated dining room sits next door, a real luxury for family time, it's laid semi open to your skylit kitchen, itself immaculately dressed in elegant cream and timber with metro tile splashback and garden access. It's quite a garden too – a substantial, elegantly elevated deck descends to a generous length of lawn, home to greenery and ending in a second timber deck. Perfect for al fresco entertaining.

Inside and your first bathroom completes the ground floor, while upstairs you have two double sleepers, both brimming with vintage style and with a sleek, modern shower room exquisite in onyx trim, arranged en suite to the rear. Up the skylit stairs to your substantial loft conversion now. To the front you have a generous double with it's own pair of skylights, bedroom four sits to the rear and in between you have a gorgeous bathroom complete with freestanding clawfoot tub.

Outside and, as well as the endless nature of Walthamstow Wetlands within easy reach, you're just a ten minute stroll from Lloyd Park. These open green spaces and landscaped gardens are home to cafes, courts, a thriving Saturday market and all manner of sports clubs and classes. Meanwhile, Craft Beer fans will be delighted to discover the Blackhorse Beer Mile just as close in the other direction. A diverse collection of independent, family friendly breweries, taprooms and beer gardens, you're sure to find a favourite.

a word from the owner...

"We have loved living in this house, we fell in love with it the moment we walked through the doors. We have grown our family and made many happy memories here. The ease of reach to central London, the local amenities from pubs and breweries to coffee shops, parks and forest walks has filled our time here and seeing how the area has developed has been really exciting. We're sad to leave the house and the area that we have called home for a long time."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Oakfield Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
