4 Bedrooms

A uniquely placed, immensely spacious four bedroom semi detached, set in lush thriving gardens just two minutes from Epping Forest. Lovingly extended to the rear, with still more potential for development, this is a real home for the ages.

Your separate double garage comes in at 290 square feet, brimming with scope. You could turn the space into your own home work space or studio, split it or keep the parking (drivers can be on the arterial North Circular in just a couple of minutes).

You'll have over 1200 feet to stretch out in, with a wealth of sociable space including the 175 square foot reception, plushly finished and bathed in light by that large bow window. Your fourth bedroom sits across the hallway, equally ideal as yet another reception space. An invaluable utility room and spare WC completes the frontage.

To the rear and your vast, broken plan kitchen/diner comes in at around 300 square feet, skylit and with tremendous views of your wrap around rear garden. A wealth of cream cabinetry is topped with timber effect counters while natural light floods across your smoky grey floors. A plush lounge area looking out over the garden adds the finishing touch.

Step through the French doors and a deck descends to patio, in turn descending to an expanse of lawn surrounded by lush, screening greenery. Upstairs and a pair of bright, luxurious double bedrooms and a generous single complete the sleeping arrangements, with the latter making the ideal nursery or home office. Finally, your family bathroom is impeccably immaculate, with pristine metro tiling running from tub to ceiling.

You'll never want for nature here. The endlessly exploreable expanse of Epping Forest is just two minutes walk across the road, ideal for evening strolls or morning jogs. Stretch your legs and make for the Gypsy Stone or Oak Hill Pond. When it's time to commute, Highams Park station is less than a half mile in the other direction and will get you directly to Liverpool Street in just thirteen minutes. So that's the City less than a half hour away door to door.

- The salubrious surroundings of The Royal Oak gastropub and guest house are just a three minute stroll. A great local with a country pub feel.
- As well as facing the tranquil turning of Oak Hill Crescent, you also have direct garden access from Galeborough Avenue, your corner plot offering a wonderful sense of space.
- Parents will be pleased to know you have six 'Outstanding' primary/secondary schools all less than a mile away on foot.

a word from the owner......

"I have known this house my whole life and it has been in my family since 1961, when my grandparents moved in with their young family. I have fond memories of playing in the garden, walking dogs in the woods and trips to the shops in Highams Parks for ice creams! The house is bright, airy, and the garden is great for days and evenings spent outside with family, dinner or just reading a book. We get amazing sunsets through the kitchen and lounge windows, which are beautiful to gaze at and bathe both rooms in warm orange light. Oak Hill Crescent is a peaceful, safe area with great neighbours and a green in the middle for kids to play. Everyone knows each other and there is a strong sense of community - there have been several street parties in recent years. Epping Forest being so close (2 mins away) is the best thing about this house. There are so many different running and walking routes and the lake is beautiful. For cyclists, you get out into the countryside in no time. There are lots of shops and cafés in the area to choose from. The coffee and cake at Halex is so good we asked the owner to make our wedding cake! The Royal Oak at the end of the road is a great pub with a fantastic beer garden."
