An exquisitely appointed four bedroom, two bathroom family home, a short stroll from Lloyd Park and Wood Street. Laid out over three floors, brimming with designer details and vintage features, and full of natural light, this is a superb find.

Your private rear garden's an artfully arranged mix of raised patio and lawn, with plenty of space for dining al fresco, and a handy shed at the end.

Step inside and your vast open plan ground floor is immediately impressive. Over 350 square feet in all, natural light flows throughout, from the bay window at the front to the twin sets of patio. doors at the rear. In between you have smooth and smoky engineered blonde hardwood floors, plus a striking statement exposed chimney breast.

Your kitchen's subtly segmented by a modest breakfast bar under pendulum lighting, leading to twin flanks of sleek, seamless cabinets under matching chunky countertops and an eyecatching, turquoise hexagonal splashback. In an extra touch of luxury, there's even an integrated wine fridge, while brass fittings complete the effect.

Upstairs and your principal bedroom's a handsome affair in sky blue, with substantial mirrored floor to ceiling wardrobes. Bedroom two is another double, currently in use as a nursery. To the rear your family bathroom's a real show stopper; dual aspect with smoky marbled floor tiling, freestanding ceramic tub and a walk in rainfall shower backed with aquamarine chevron tilework.

Finally, head up a skylit staircase for your enviably expert loft conversion. To the front you have a 150 square foot double sleeper, finished in pristine white and illuminated by twin skylights. There's also plentiful under-eaves storage. Bedroom four to the rear is currently in use as a home working space, while in between your second bathroom is home to an expansive rainfall shower, sleek in onyx trim.

a word from the owner...

"With the ease of having access to Epping Forest, local pool/gym for our little kid, an amazing local coffee shop one road away and a short stroll to London, it seems we have the perfect position for working life for a growing family."

Our Local Guide:

Northbank Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
