A beautifully presented one bedroom apartment, artfully appointed with original features and contemporary designer finishes throughout. It's all sat on the ground floor of a handsome Victorian end of terrace, moments from the High Street.

Thanks to your end terrace status, you have a dedicated private entrance to the side. There's also a new boiler, freshly installed in 2022.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You'll be stretching out in this especially light and airy find. With lots of incidental space and two generous sociable spots, it's a cut above your average apartment. Your immediate first stop is the characterful front lounge, around 180 square feet, with soft sand coloured walls and immaculately restored vintage timber floorboards underfoot. A tranquil introduction. Your bedroom's next door, a substantial, tranquil double with more delectable floors and a delicate sage green colour scheme.

Down the hallway now, past some handy understairs storage, to find your bathroom on the left. It's a chic and immaculate affair, fully tiled from tub to ceiling with a rainfall shower and underfloor heating below the large format floor tiling. Your kitchen/diner's another impressive spot for welcoming guests; 160 square feet with plywood cabinets, quartz worktops and a Belfast sink. Throw open your newly installed aluminium French doors to connect your kitchen to your garden, 200 square feet, secluded by high timber fencing and with flourishing raised planters running around the sides.

Outside and you're just a ten minute walk from St James Street overground station and direct twenty minute runs to Liverpool Street. Here's also where you'll find CRATE St James, our entrepreneurial hub home to yoga studios, burger bars, barbers and craft beer taprooms. There's more - the famous Walthamstow Street Market also starts here, the longest in Europe. Exploring further you'll find Walthamstow Mall and the Empire Cinema.

WHAT ELSE?

- St James Park is just five minutes around the corner, ideal for relaxing or hitting fitness goals. If you really want to blow away the cobwebs, London's largest nature reserve, our 500 acre Walthamstow Wetlands, is just fifteen minutes on foot.
- True Craft is coming soon to St James Street from Tottenham, for delicious sourdough pizzas and craft beers to enjoy on the spot or take away from the bottle shop.
- One of Walthamstow's best kept secrets is just five minutes away on foot. Supperclub.tube lets you enjoy delicious Latin American fusion dishes in a decommissioned tube carriage. Booking is essential.

a word from the owner...

"I have lived here for over nine years and I have absolutely loved my time on Myrtle road. It has a really peaceful, friendly vibe and the loveliest neighbours. The flat is situated on a quiet corner and the south facing garden is like a little oasis that gets the sun all day, it is a real sun trap. There are a lot of green spaces close by, St James park a few minutes walk away, walking distance to Walthamstow marshes and the Wetlands and a short drive/train ride to Epping forest, You are always close to nature, which is one of the things I have treasured most about living here. Equally, this is a great spot to be for all the cafes, restaurants, shops, bakeries, breweries etc in St James street, Blackhorse road, the village,.. It is close to all the good things Walthamstow has to offer. If I was staying i London I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, I will truly miss this little gem of a place!"

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Myrtle Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
