"I have felt very lucky to own this beautiful red-brick flat, with its original wooden sliding sash windows and charming wooden floorboards. It has been a welcoming and peaceful retreat since day one, with plenty of cleverly-designed storage to keep everything organised and clutter-free too. It’s hard not to feel the warmth and positivity this home radiates. The location has been ideal. Highams Park and Epping Forest are right on the doorstep perfect for peaceful walks or jogging along the nature trails. The community here is vibrant and welcoming. Humphry’s Café, a local gem is just a minutes walk away, offering activities for everyone—from families to singletons—and has a wonderful Instagram page full of events. Within a 10-minute walk, Mojos and The Lemon Seed on Woodford Green High Street provide good coffee options. For dining out, I love the Bel Sit and Storia, though there are plenty of great restaurants around. Staying active is easy with fantastic and affordable fitness options close by, including Featherbeats Gym and Yoga on the Green. Shopping is convenient too, with Waitrose, M&S, and a large Sainsbury’s all nearby. Yes, you read that right – duck ponds, cricket greens and quaint pubs… all just 30-ish minutes from Oxford Circus. No wonder savvy families have been making the area home for a while now – the area’s excellent schools are just the icing on the cake.

Thanks to its close proximity to Epping Forest, visitors head to Woodford Green for scenic walks, and then refuel at one of the area’s cosy traditional pubs such as the Travellers Friend or The Cricketers.
