A beautifully presented three bedroom Victorian house with over 1,200 square feet of living space, set on one of Lower Clapton's most sought-after streets. Millfields Park, the River Lea and Chatsworth Road are all close by, giving you an excellent choice of green spaces, independent cafés and local shops, while the area remains well connected for journeys across East London.
IF YOU LIVED HERE...
Step through the front door and you're welcomed by a bright bay-fronted reception room, where large windows and thoughtful fitted shelving create an inviting place to relax. A second reception room sits beyond, offering flexibility as an additional living space, reading room or formal dining room. The house has been beautifully presented throughout, with a calm, contemporary feel that complements its Victorian proportions.
To the rear, the generous kitchen and dining room is arranged around a central island, creating a sociable space for everyday life and entertaining alike. Doors open directly onto the garden, extending the living space outside during the warmer months. A ground floor WC is tucked neatly off the hallway, while the cellar provides useful additional storage.
Upstairs you'll find three well-proportioned bedrooms arranged around the landing. The principal bedroom sits at the front of the house, with two further bedrooms overlooking different aspects of the property. A family bathroom serves this floor, completing a layout that works equally well for growing families or anyone looking for extra space. Offered chain free, this is a home ready for its next chapter.

word from the owner...
"I've lived in the area for over 10 years, and in this house since 2021. The house is in a fantastic location for socialising, walking and parks, and public transport. Moments from bus stops and close to train stations, it's really easy to get around. Millfields Road is such a great area, with several parks nearby – perfect if you have a dog. So many great food and drink options nearby, too, including Chatsworth Road Market. The house itself is a great size and perfect for hosting! The garden is a great sun trap, and the basement perfect for storage. There are also two sizeable attics that would be perfect for a loft conversion. Our neighbours have always been very friendly and helpful when needed."

Our Local Guide:
Hackney
Where do you start with Hackney? It can feel like it’s all been said before, but, of course, it can’t have been because the area is constantly evolving, which is what keeps it so fresh. It’s just what happens when a neighbourhood has such a high population of creative innovators.
Even fans of Hackney’s scruffier edges love the imaginative ways that the area has been regenerated, with thoughtfully-designed stores, bars and coffee shops sitting comfortably alongside sleek architecture and beloved institutions such as Ridley Road Market.
Despite all this urban buzz, the area has a surprisingly large amount of green space, including Hackney Wick, Victoria Park and London Fields, which fill up with a mix of visitors and locals at weekends. Whether they go on to have food at a Michelin-starred restaurant, a pint in The Talbot or a swim in the lido, they’re all united in their love of this most unique community.

Vibrant nightlife
Breweries, eclectic clubs, intimate bars, warehouse parties, world-class music venues… The only thing you probably shouldn’t expect if you visit Hackney late in the day is an early night. This part of east London attracts visitors from across the globe, but residents get to enjoy it without the dash for a night bus home.
Great Pubs
Great British pub culture is alive and well in Hackney. In fact, according to CAMRA, it’s the only London borough where the number of pubs has risen this century. With everything from traditional old boozers to gastropubs, favourites include The Victoria, The Hemingway and The Talbot.
Plenty of period property
Thanks to a property boom in London during and after the reign of Queen Victoria, the borough of Hackney has one of the highest concentrations of Victorian and Edwardian housing. Today you’ll find everything from Victorian flat conversions near Victoria Park to grand Grade II listed Georgian homes around London Fields.
Easy access to the City
City workers living in Hackney not only make a big saving on travel, they’ve got an extra push to keep fit. Although the borough covers a large area, almost all of it is a walk, jog or peddle from Liverpool Street and Bank. If that’s not possible, there are plenty of bus and train routes.
