"We have lived in our flat for nearly 10 years and will be sad to leave! We added an extension to the living area a few years ago which has made it feel really bright, spacious and sociable with the open plan layout. We love having our own private garden which is a really good size, and adding the garden studio has been so useful as a home office space/ hobby room. Having side access from our garden to the street is also really useful for bike rides etc. We love the Lloyd park area, it’s amazing having the park right on our doorstep, especially with the street food market on a Saturday. We are also really close to the Blackhorse Beer Mile with all the great taprooms, and Slowburn restaurant is a great hidden gem! We loved loving here when we were younger and it is also perfect for family life, with so many nurseries and primary schools within walking distance and loads of family friendly things to do in the area. Transport links are also great being within 15 minutes walk of both Walthamstow Central & Blackhorse Rd."

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too. 

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space.
