"Tucked away down a quiet cul de sac, we were immediately struck by how peaceful the house is, despite its proximity to the hustle and bustle of the High Road. We have loved having the big bifolds open, BBQing and having drinks with friends in our southwest facing, suntrap garden, or on the upstairs terrace. Leytonstone has loads going on, some local highlights for us include Unity Café for a Perky Blenders flat white, Wild Goose Bakery for a fresh sourdough loaf, Leytonstone Tavern for craft beer and burgers (go for the Joe Exotic!), Bocca Bocca for Neapolitan pizza and Singburi for authentic Thai food. Wanstead flats, Epping Forest, Hackney Wick, The Olympic Park, Walthamstow and Wanstead are all within easy reach, and Leytonstone Leisure centre is a stone’s throw away for swimming, soft play, gym etc. For those with young families, Leytonstone has a thriving parent and child community with plenty of good nurseries, classes and events to choose from. We will be really sad to leave the house, but following the birth of our first child, we want to move closer to family."
