IF YOU LIVED HERE…

Thanks to its immaculate condition and excellent working order, you’ll be able to relax in your new home from the day you move in. With 553 square feet of internal space, you’ve got plenty of room to spread out, and the light that pours through the generous balcony doors gives an even greater illusion of space. Thanks to its neutral decor and immaculate floors, the living/kitchen area has a relaxed ambiance, making it a great spot for socialising as well as unwinding on your own. The pendant lights add to the mood, while the sleek kitchen cabinets provide an air of sophistication.

The double bedroom shares the same pale colour palette, but with soft carpeting underfoot, and you’ll be pleased to find custom storage too. Across the spacious hallway, you’ll find your spotless bathroom, with its modern fittings and over-tub shower.

Thanks to its fifth floor spot, you can enjoy the leafy view from the balcony, or make the most of your communal gardens while getting to know the neighbours and sharing tips about the thriving local area…

Head to Wood Street, where several exciting new stores and eateries have popped up amongst the old favourites. There’s the wonderfully unique Wood Street Indoor Market, the award-winning taquería Homies on Donkeys, excellent beer shop-cum-bar Clapton Craft and sensational bakery Chocolatine, just to name a few of your local amenities.

In the other direction, you’ll find the Ravenswood Industrial Estate, which is home to the ever-popular God’s Own Junkyard, as well as breweries Wildcard Brewery Tap, Pillars Brewery, Trap, plus gin palace Mother’s Ruin.

Or if you want something really new, The Lacy Nook, is opening this autumn just a few minutes south of your home home, where diners can expect a Nordic-style experience with Balkan fusion dishes on the menu. Just as interesting, the now-established Art e pasta is also a few blocks away, where you’ll find Italian sharing plates with a focus on hand-made pasta.

a word from the expert...

"For me it’s the sheer variety you find in each pocket of Walthamstow that makes working and socialising here so enjoyable. Whether it’s having a coffee from Perky Blenders, going for a Sunday morning walk in Epping Forest, dropping into one of the local breweries in Blackhorse Road, or catching up with friends in Lloyd Park, the growth and positive changes within E17 have been incredible in recent years." Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Marlowe Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
