2 Bedroom s

1 Bath

A charming and characterful two bedroom end of terrace, within easy reach of Chingford and Highams Park. Totalling a shade under 750 square feet of living space, bursting with vintage style and with a large rear garden, this is a real find.

You're moments from the manicured gardens of Pimp Hall Park here, as well as the wild greenery of Hatch Forest, with the blue and green parkland of Highams Park and its famous lake also within venturing distance.

IF YOU LIVED HERE

You'll be welcoming friends and family through the storm porch with its classic leaded windows and into your 150 square foot front lounge. Dual aspect with a handy home working nook, in here you have blonde hardwood underfoot and a stone effect hearth taking centre stage.

It's all laid open to your kitchen via an oversized serving arch, making for an effectively open plan ground floor and maximising the sense of space and scale. In here you have a suite of pine cabinets, smoky sandstone, in turn leading to your sizeable insulated conservatory, full of natural light and with tremendous views over your lengthy rear garden.

There's plenty to look at, with over fifty foot of lush lawn, flanked by mature trees and timber fencing. The potential out here for patios, decking, summer houses and extensions is huge. Back inside and upstairs, where both bedrooms are solid, handsomely appointed doubles and your family bathroom features large format slate grey tiling and a walk in shower cubicle.

WHAT ELSE?

- Parents will be pleased to know you have ten primary/secondary schools, all rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, less than a mile away on foot.
- Thanks to your end terrace status you have all the benefits of being effectively semi detached, including extra peace and quiet and side access to your substantial garden.
- With that enormous garden, not to mention your untouched loft space, you have plenty of potential for developing things still further (subject to the usual permissions), making this a home to suit your needs for years to come.

Our Local Guide:
Chingford

Manor Farm Drive, Chingford — Stow Brothers

Chingford has flourished more quickly than people have caught on in recent years, making it something of a well kept secret for locals (it wasn’t us who told you). Full of village charm but only 26 minutes from central London, it’s easy to see the appeal.

With sprawling parks in the centre and the 6,000-acre Epping Forest lining the northern boundary, there’s more open space than you can shake a native hornbeam stick at, no wonder that Chingford has spawned two England football captains in recent decades.

For those looking to refuel after burning off all that energy in nature, there’s a thriving food and drink scene, although let’s be clear that the area’s admired status pre-dates the macchiato. Local historical landmark the Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge was built for Henry VIII way back in 1543.
