3 Bedroom

1 Bath

A bright and beautiful three bedroom terraced home with a landscaped, south-east-facing rear garden. Here you're sat on a leafy no through road in Chapel End within easy reach of the lush greenery of Epping Forest, and Wood Street.

Rainy day? Fulbourne Road's at the end of your street for frequent buses to Wood Street, St James Street station (both ideal for easy shuttles to Liverpool Street) and Leytonstone station for the Central Line.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You'll be luxuriating in your 125 square feet lounge where large windows fill the space with natural light. There's a period fireplace and refined timber floorboards underfoot. It's a dual aspect space flowing seamlessly through to the generous 255 square feet kitchen/diner. In here you have a home working nook, tower radiator and sleek white units housing integrated appliances. A skylight illuminates the proceedings.

Step through the door here for your garden where a timber deck adorned with burgeoning raised beds leads up to a low-maintenance section of Trulawn. Back inside and up the stairs you'll find your 165 square feet principal bedroom. Paned windows frame gorgeous green street views, there's another vintage fireplace plus a handy shoe cupboard. Bedroom two's a double with a garden view, while the bathroom exudes boutique chic: ebony flourishes, a Belfast sink and rainfall shower over L-shaped tub. Exquisite. Lastly, up on the second floor sits the 135 square foot bedroom three, skylit with a charming vaulted ceiling.

Outside and bustling Wood Street is under ten minutes away on foot. You're bound to spend more than a few Saturdays browsing the vintage delights at the revitalised indoor market (check out Homies on Donkeys for award-winning tacos). Wood Street station's overground trains will take you to Liverpool Street in twenty minutes (alternatively it's just one stop to Walthamstow Central and the Victoria line) or drivers can be on the North Circular in three minutes and the M11 in six.

WHAT ELSE?

- Parents will be pleased to know that you have twenty three primary/secondary schools in a one mile radius, all rated 'Good' or better by Ofsted, including six rated 'Outstanding'.
- If you've a hankering for fine coffee head to Ruttle & Rowe just three minutes' walk away. The Galley's just three minutes further on Fulbourne Road for a chicken, bacon with avocado ciabatta.
- Your new local is The Dog & Duck, a lovingly refurbished traditional pub now with beer garden beach huts.

a word from the expert...

“I have worked in Walthamstow for over 10 years, and I still enjoy the buzz in the area. From the scene in Walthamstow Central which offers Collab, Gokyuzu and the Empire cinema. Take a short stroll to the famous William Morris gallery which is located on the popular Lloyd Park surrounded by beautiful green scenery. Walthamstow Village has been a popular trend for me over the years with its bubbly night life and quirky pubs. My personal favourite is The Village Pub. There are four train stations in Walthamstow. Walthamstow Central, Wood Street, Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Queens Road. I have commuted to and from Central London from Walthamstow Train Station which takes less than 20 minutes so I can see why Walthamstow has the nickname awsomestow”. Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Macdonald Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
