4 Bedrooms

A bright and substantial four-bedroom 1930s home which benefits from easy access to Highams Park station, as well as a lovely large garden, off-street parking and much more.

Not only does the semi-detached home already come in at about 1,466 square foot, there’s also the potential to extend should the need rise - great for peace of mind.

Lynton Road is a quiet, residential street anyway, but you’ll still love the convenience of having your own own private driveway - no more parking hassle. Step inside and enjoy the sheer amount of space offered by your hallway - no more clutter either. Just how modern living should be.

Things get even better when you enter your substantial dual aspect reception room; it’s been beautifully finished, with soft carpeting underfoot and neutral decor throughout, with a feature fireplace at the centre. At the back, step through the patio doors into your huge garden, with front and rear patios to ensure you get that last bit of sun, and a lovely pathway which winds by a majestic tree that you’re sure to fall in love with.

Back inside, you’ll find your sleek and modern kitchen, complete with pristine cabinets, an island and integrated appliances. The pendant lighting and yellow decor keep things extra cheery. You’ve also got a convenient downstairs WC and smart living room, which is great for entertaining.

Upstairs, you’ll find four immaculate bedrooms with plenty of storage and natural light. The family bathroom has both a walk-in shower and freestanding bath, as well as spotless fittings.

The home is just a 15 minute stroll from Highams Park station, which means you can zip to Liverpool Street on the overground in around 25 minutes (or change at Walthamstow Central for the Victoria line and whizz to the West End).

There are plenty of excellent amenities nearby, including Vino Tap, The Stag & Lantern Micropub and Melting Pot Bistro. There’s also the convenience of a Tesco Superstore and other chains should you need essentials. Plus it’s also only a short hop to Walthamstow and Chingford for even more top-class amenities.

The neighbourhood is home to a huge amount of greenery, particularly since it’s located at the cusp of Epping Forest, but Highams Park itself is the jewel in the crown, with its lovely lake and landscaped gardens.

- You’re only a 12 minute walk from Chingford Leisure Centre, where you’ll find a newly refurbished gym and a 25m, 6-lane swimming pool, as well as a smaller shallow teaching pool for children.
- Parents will be pleased to know you have an abundance of 'Outstanding' or 'Good' schools in the area
- Drivers can be on the North Circular in just a few minutes

Our Local Guide:

Lynton Road, Chingford — Stow Brothers

Chingford has flourished more quickly than people have caught on in recent years, making it something of a well kept secret for locals (it wasn’t us who told you). Full of village charm but only 26 minutes from central London, it’s easy to see the appeal.

With sprawling parks in the centre and the 6,000-acre Epping Forest lining the northern boundary, there’s more open space than you can shake a native hornbeam stick at, no wonder that Chingford has spawned two England football captains in recent decades.

For those looking to refuel after burning off all that energy in nature, there’s a thriving food and drink scene, although let’s be clear that the area’s admired status pre-dates the macchiato. Local historical landmark the Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge was built for Henry VIII way back in 1543.
