A smart and stylish contemporary two bedroom semi detached, immaculately presented with manicured gardens front and back. There's also a bright and picturesque conservatory, and it's all located just a short stroll from Wanstead High Street.

Here, you'll be enjoying peaceful rural living on a quiet no through road that's nonetheless just a short stroll from one of our most sought-after neighbourhoods.

You'll step inside to find the boutique palette of your new home established early on in your bright entranceway, with smoky grey engineered flooring and plush grey carpets on the stairs ascending ahead of you. Your kitchen's on the left, with banks of pale sea blue letterbox tiling, smoky grey counters and sleek seamless white cabinetry. Next is your 175 square foot reception; sleek, spotless and full of natural light thanks to the adjacent conservatory.

Here you have another eighty five square feet of space for welcoming guests and enjoying the garden all year round. It's quite the space too, with an L-shaped patio giving way to a barely-overlooked stretch of lawn, and nothing but trees on the horizon. Back inside and the ground floor's completed by a handy spare WC, while upstairs you have twin double sleepers, bright and pristine as you'll expect, and your family bathroom, artfully appointed in large format, smoky grey tiling.

Outside and it's just fifteen minutes on foot to Wanstead High Street, the bustling heart of our ever-popular East London village. Home to a whole host of much-loved meeting spots including independent cafes The Larder and Bare Brew, each vying for your attention with delicious coffee and home-made treats. Stately gastropub The Bull is your go-to spot for Sunday roasts and there's even a traditional East End Pie & Mash shop.

- Snaresbrook and Wanstead tube stations are both around a fifteen minute walk or five minute cycle, and will whisk you directly to the City and West End in sixteen and twenty five minutes respectively, via the Central line.
- You're surrounded by a welcome wealth of natural space here, with the open greenery of Onslow Gardens just to the back of you.
- Wanstead High Street is the obvious destination for food and drink, but don't ignore nearby Nightingale Lane, with its own trio of award-winning gastropubs, ever so slightly off the beaten track but just a half mile from your front door.

a word from the owner....

"I will think back fondly during my time at Longcourt Mews. Its proximity to green spaces for running and cycling, in addition to a lovely quiet back garden has been a god send throughout lockdown."

Our Local Guide:

Longcourt Mews, Wanstead — Stow Brothers

Thanks to its royal connections and grand properties, Wanstead has previously been compared to the likes of Twickenham and Richmond, although East Londoners are quick to point out that it has plenty enough merits of its own.

For a start, despite its villagey feel, it’s proudly nestled within London’s most creative quadrant and only a short hop on the Central line from the bright lights of the City. There’s also an abundance of green space – Wanstead Flats, Epping Forest, Wanstead Park and Chalet Wood, with the seasonal display of bluebells in the latter just calling out for an accompanying picnic from one of the well-stocked local delis or cafes. But that’s not to say that Wanstead’s charming pubs and restaurants aren’t delightful to look at themselves – it’ll be deciding which to go for that’s the problem.
