Walthamstow Wetlands, our 500 acre, Green Flag award winning nature reserve, is just a half mile on foot anytime you want to lose yourself in nature. You'll forget you're in London.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You'll be enjoying all the benefits of that classic Warner architecture, starting with your dedicated front door below that signature brick archway. Step inside and you have a stately, 140 square foot lounge on your left, with blonde hardwood underfoot and open shelving either side of the chimney breast. Your principal bedroom is next, a large double with integrated wardrobes and a garden view.

Next along, your kitchen's strikingly decked out in eye catching royal blue cabinets with smart brass trim, timber worktops and a Dublin sink. Bedroom two is a generous single, currently in use as a home working space, while your bathroom's an elegant affair with metro tiling running from floor to ceiling and a shower over the tub. Out back is your private rear garden, an elegant mix of patio and lawn, with sky blue timber backdrop.

Outside, and as noted St James Station is very much on your doorstep, just a two minute stroll for direct twenty minute runs to Liverpool Street, putting the City well within a half hour away door to door. Next door to the station is our community and creative hub, CRATE St James, home to an ever evolving array of independent, entrepreneurial offerings, from craft breweries to burger bars, barbers to yoga studios.

a word from the owner...

"We've loved living here for the past four years and will be sad to leave. The location has always been really convenient being so close to St James Street and also Blackhorse Road while still having lots of green space in the Wetlands and St James Park. There are endless options for food and drink with more and more opening all the time, CRATE will definitely be missed."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Leucha Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
