IF YOU LIVED HERE

You'll have friends and family alike marveling at your palatial thirty foot long lounge/diner. Used as a utility, gym with sauna and home office with broadband line, this versatile space is fit to meet all your future needs and could even be converted to make a self-contained guest apartment.

Back inside and the kitchen's just as huge as the lounge, coming in at an impressive 280 square feet. A sleek Urban Myth walnut-effect kitchen is perfectly complemented by a quartz work surface, Miele appliances with another dining area sits to the rear for extra zoning options. Your front lounge is a large 235 square foot with plush cream carpet underfoot, a beautiful bow window inset with decorative panes, a vintage fireplace and stately moulding overhead. The ground floor's completed by a smart WC.

Upstairs your master bedroom comes in at over 200 square feet, with that gorgeous 1910 bow window framing a verdant street view. Bedrooms two and three are both generous doubles with built-in storage and garden vistas, while bedroom four's a versatile eighty square feet. Lastly, the family bathroom's an effortlessly contemporary space with a tub and separate double length rainfall shower cubicle.

Outside and the justly coveted Warren Estate is at your fingertips, flanked by endlessly explorable open green spaces and just a short stroll from Wanstead High Street. a word from our wanstead expert....

"Being a country girl at heart, for me Wanstead is the perfect blend of village/city living. With excellent transport links into the city, I often meet up with friends to explore the wonders of London. But I also enjoy going for long, leafy walks with Hollow Ponds and Wanstead Park on my doorstep. I was first attracted to Wanstead by its charming High Street, lush green spaces and choice of excellent schools. Since moving here, I have discovered some new favourites — for breakfast La Bakerie, lunch at Otto and The Duke for the best roast around. I love to stay active, and here in Wanstead you have lots to choose from. From organised yoga at Christ Church Green, personal training sessions at Target Fit or jogging around the various nature trails of Epping Forest. There is a great sense of community here in Wanstead, with informative Facebook groups, street parties, a monthly farmers’ market and the local jumble trail. I have made many friends locally, there is a genuine community spirit here and I am proud to call Wanstead my home." KYLI CLAYTON E11 ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER

Our Local Guide:
Wanstead

Langley Drive, Wanstead — Stow Brothers

Thanks to its royal connections and grand properties, Wanstead has previously been compared to the likes of Twickenham and Richmond, although East Londoners are quick to point out that it has plenty enough merits of its own.

For a start, despite its villagey feel, it’s proudly nestled within London’s most creative quadrant and only a short hop on the Central line from the bright lights of the City. There’s also an abundance of green space – Wanstead Flats, Epping Forest, Wanstead Park and Chalet Wood, with the seasonal display of bluebells in the latter just calling out for an accompanying picnic from one of the well-stocked local delis or cafes. But that’s not to say that Wanstead’s charming pubs and restaurants aren’t delightful to look at themselves – it’ll be deciding which to go for that’s the problem.
