a word from the owner........

"I've had 7 great years at this flat, it's huge for a 1 bedroom, which means it's ideal for a bit of entertaining or just to spread out! The terrace too is big, great for dinner outside in the summer or a spot of gardening! Highams Park is a fantastic place, I've enjoyed frequenting the brilliant cafes, restaurants, pubs and have to give a special shout out to Vino Tap the wine bar! When not eating or drinking I've enjoyed many walks by Highams Park Lake and mountain biking in Epping Forest, which is easily accessible, It's also been handy having some good tennis courts a 2 minute walk away. I am sad to leave this flat and am only selling to enable me to buy somewhere with my fiancee."

Our Local Guide:
Highams Park

Jacks Farm Way, Highams Park — Stow Brothers

Not everyone in the capital has heard of Highams Park, and that’s only a good thing. Although it’s well connected to Central London on the Overground to Liverpool Street, it’s tucked out of sight enough to ensure that the picturesque woodland and coffee shops have a slightly exclusive feel. That’s not to say that the locals are a cliquey bunch though – far from it, they’ve been welcoming savvy families and individuals after a little more bang for their buck for years.

All the extra space offered up from Epping Forest and Highams Park itself might be the main draw, but newcomers stay for the perks; the silver-lining of the secret slowly getting out is a vibrant and buzzing community which has created a lively food and drink scene.
