An immaculately presented one-bedroom apartment on the first floor of a modern block in a quiet location, just moments from Epping Forest but still within easy reach of Central London.

It benefits from all the perks of being newly-built, including ample storage, high spec appliances, contemporary fittings, smart decor and a private balcony. If you’re looking for your first home, this would be a fantastic start.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

At home in your new 574 square foot apartment, you’ll find that the natural decor and blonde-toned floors create a calm mood, something that’s further emphasised by its proximity to the vast Epping Forest.

The recessed spot lighting combined with the generous floor-to-ceiling balcony doors add a touch of brilliance, and there’s plenty of space for both dining and working from home. The kitchen benefits from contemporary cabinets and stylish metro tiles, while the bathroom is just as smart, with an over-tub shower and plenty of storage.

The bedroom trades the hard flooring for soft carpeting, while the generous window allows natural light to flood in and highlight to tasteful decor.

You’ve got your own balcony to soak up the sun, but you’re only a few minutes from Epping Forest if you want to really spread out, or Highams Park itself is a short stroll away - home to a tranquil lake and beautiful flower meadows.

Up for socialising with the friendly locals? There are plenty of excellent amenities nearby, including Vino Tap, The Stag & Lantern Micropub and Melting Pot Bistro. There’s also the convenience of a Tesco Superstore and other chains should you need essentials.

Need to head further afield? Highams Park station is only three minutes on foot, which means you can zip to Liverpool Street on the overground in around half an hour door to door (or change at Walthamstow Central for the Victoria line and hop over to the West End).

WHAT ELSE?

-Your new local is the Royal Oak, a fantastic pub in a great location where you can enjoy an excellent selection of food and drink. It’s just nine minutes away on foot too.
- Your lease is is so long you’ll never have any renewal worries.

a word from the owner....

"We have enjoyed the close proximity of the station which has meant easy access to central London for work and entertainment (20 minutes to Liverpool street from Highams Park station which is only a 3 minute walk away). The open plan living space is great too for parties and dinners with friends and the roofed balcony has meant that we can enjoy the outdoor space in any weather. During lockdown and during my maternity leave we benefited immensely from the proximity of Highams Park and Epping Forest for extended walks. The amenities in the area are great, we love the local restaurants, especially Yaz and Breeze for Mediterranean food and the excellent Cantonese restaurant Good Friend, and cafes (especially Humphry's in the Park for a quick sarnie on a walk). The excellent local schools mean that now we are upsizing to accommodate a baby, we are staying in the area we fell in love with."

Our Local Guide:
Highams Park

Jacks Farm Way, Highams Park — Stow Brothers

Not everyone in the capital has heard of Highams Park, and that’s only a good thing. Although it’s well connected to Central London on the Overground to Liverpool Street, it’s tucked out of sight enough to ensure that the picturesque woodland and coffee shops have a slightly exclusive feel. That’s not to say that the locals are a cliquey bunch though – far from it, they’ve been welcoming savvy families and individuals after a little more bang for their buck for years.

All the extra space offered up from Epping Forest and Highams Park itself might be the main draw, but newcomers stay for the perks; the silver-lining of the secret slowly getting out is a vibrant and buzzing community which has created a lively food and drink scene.
