a word from the owner....

"We couldn't have had a happier five years living here and will miss it hugely when we're gone. The flat has been a perfect first home and we feel very lucky to have lived here. It's been designed with space in mind - sliding doors and access to the loft make this flat feel spacious and open. We also love the handmade carpentry throughout, including the shutters and in-built furniture, which means it couldn't be easier to move in straight away! It's a really light flat with big double-glazed windows and a south-facing kitchen meaning you get the sun all day. The most special thing about living here is the neighbours and we have all become good friends - whether that's dinner parties, hanging out with the football or trips to Blackhorse Road beer mile, there's always a friend to hang out with!"

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Ickworth Park Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
