IF YOU LIVED HERE...

Your 700 square foot home has instant charm, with highlighted vintage features alongside modern and fresh decor. Rich restored wooden flooring runs throughout and leads you into your 140 square foot reception room. In here, there's a bright bay window and an ornate feature fireplace is flanked by bespoke alcove storage. Further down the hall is your large, 170 square foot, open plan kitchen diner. This airy, sociable space is decked out in luxurious letterbox tiling and a stretch of glossy oiled oak worktops, which frame your stylish shaker cabinets.

Stepping out into your tranquil private garden you'll find a backdrop of low maintenance decking, the perfect place for summer parties or al fresco dining. Heading back inside into your bathroom, vintage chequered print flows underfoot and more timeless letterbox tiling marks out your luxuriously lengthy tub, with an overhead rainfall shower. Both bedrooms are tastefully painted in soft neutral tones and benefit from those wonderful wooden floorboards. Your principal bedroom has 120 square feet of floorspace, whilst your second sleeper has leafy garden views and could be used as a handy home office, gorgeous guest room or a peaceful children's bedroom.

You're right in the beating heart of Walthamstow and within easy reach of the best this borough has to offer. Just a ten minute walk away is the picturesque Walthamstow Village and social hub of Orford Road. Here you'll find an exciting array of dining options from gastropub fare at The Castle, to mouthwatering menus at The Kitchen, and the hedonism of Mothers Ruin gin emporium at the end of the road. For stretching your legs on a sunny day, the landscaped beauty of Lloyd Park is just a five minute stroll away, or the vast Walthamstow Wetlands is a thirty minute walk or eight minute cycle.

a word from the owner...

"My home has the perfect blend of classic charm and contemporary convenience. The high ceilings, original wooden floors, and elegant bay windows give a cosy feeling. Throughout my time there, I updated with modern touches, including a stylish, renovated kitchen and built-in shelves, adding some modernity without sacrificing the home's historic character. Situated on a quiet street with friendly neighbours, you have the convenience of being within walking distance to the station and the charming village makes commuting and exploring local amenities a breeze."

Our Local Guide:
Walthamstow

Howard Road, Walthamstow — Stow Brothers

Situated on the edge of spacious Epping Forest, but every inch urban London, Walthamstow is one of those rare locations where you can have your (artisan) cake and eat it too.

Built from proper East End roots, the rapidly expanding community has transformed the area into a buzzy, creative hub and destination in its own right, making Walthamstow’s close proximity to central London less relevant than it perhaps once was (although if you must leave, it’s only a short hop on the Victoria line or London Overground). In fact, these days you’re more likely to see daytrippers coming into the area, keen to sample its varied offerings of food, drink, culture and green space. However, lucky locals get the added benefit of being part of a genuinely cheery community – and amongst the first to know about that latest hot new opening.
